When my Boo is tired, I carry-boo around. She's tiny and I'm strong, so. But this is not that. This is part of the massive Iowa 80 truck stop, and it's a typical cute chain coffee shop, which is pretty popular around the East and Midwest. I played a few concerts in these places which is cool. This particular one is fine and the service was really nice. I'm not crazy about the coffee here but it's a lot better than Starbucks. read more

Not a very friendly business. Coffee is way to overpriced and it's not even good. They are also serving Einstein Bro's bagels. The food preparation counter area seemed so dirty along with a cleaning cloth that was on there that I wouldn't seriously want to eat a bagel there. Sorry, won't be back. read more

I felt like we were inconveniencing the staff. The mask were all down under their chins. The girl giving us the coffee didn't mark which was decaf. I didn't drink mine. Waste of my money. I was afraid when I asked which was decaf she really didn't know either by expression. She did point to one, but I didn't trust her. Why don't you mark the cups? It helps the staff and the customers. Ordering decaf can be a health issue for some and needs to be taken seriously by staff. The creamer was empty. Took that to the counter and said it was empty. It was just refilled. A new one should have been used. Again a health issue. Rest of the place with shops and food was really nice. Just don't stop at this coffee shop. read more

I asked if they had a dark roast coffee available. She said yes. I ordered a large. It was very very very weak tasting. Weaker than Starbucks mildest roast. Gross, I threw it in the trash and will never go here again. read more

May 25th, 2019 just after 10am the short, overweight blonde supervisor was in a horrible mood. she was belittling her young staff in front of customers making the experience awkward. She micromanaged them instead of guiding them. It was pretty ugly. I returned my Americano, because I got a bite of the worst espresso in America, instead of the smooth delightful coffee we know is Caribou. Either the hopper was filled with a different a bean (tasted VERY STRONG not bold from a dark roast though), or the machine needed to be calibrated. It also has a strong vanilla flavor to it. I drink my stuff black so it was an obvious flavor difference. When I went to get it redone the supervisor, who had withheld our receipt at our initial interaction, was snarky and combative. She rolled her eyes and scoffed, "it's espresso" under her breath. SHE WAS AN EMBARRASSMENT of a supervisor. I felt bad for the people who work with her. I wasnt rude bc I've been a barista and things happen when it's busy, but this lady was just horrible. Her staff had zero moral and a couple girls looked like they wanted to slap her. I ended up getting a refund because she was not a nice person grumbling around barking to everyone like she was in her living room talking to her children. I told her I hoped her day would get better, because obviously it was not a good day in her extremely frowning face(I feel bad for her life if this her in public) and she yelled, "I'M HAVING A GREAT DAY!" lol ummmm no you're not lady lol your miserable and it shows...poor gal... I guess no one told her, if you're happy and you know it then your face will surely show it, becaust she only showed distaste for her young female staff(jealousy??) and anger. read more

Very disappointed in the service and the tea. The only tea that they had was flavored. Really? Would you only carry flavored coffee? I doubt it. Even worse, the employees didn't know anything about the tea. When I asked for unflavored or black tea they tried to give me Earl Gray. Guess what? It says "flavored" on the box. Very unfriendly baristas. The coffee here never taste up to typical Caribou standards. 2nd time being disappointed here.

The red-eye was horrible and I couldn't even taste the hazelnut that was added to the coffee. The barista didn't even know what a red-eye was! Now I know why Caribou is no longer in Michigan and Starbucks took over. THEY SUCK! read more

Caribou coffee is one of my favorites - this location is OK the people working here don't seem to LOVE their job & the fact that they are working at a huge truck stop (worlds largest!) you would think they would have a little bit more personality! Coffee is always good though. read more
