Stopped by for some takeout after being in Murchison for some work at our property there. I had wanted a fish sandwich and forgotten that those were only available during Lent. Had a brief friendly conversation with a woman I assumed was the manager, who apologized and explained why fish wasn't on the menu. After we ordered and while waiting, I mentioned to her that my husband had expressed interested in their advertised banana pudding shake but that it was a strange concept and he was hesitant to order one. She brought him a sample! and I thought that was a really nice gesture. We got our order pretty quickly, got in the car and opened the bag to discover that one of the two sandwiches was omitted. Went right back in and they were SO apologetic for the error. Under most circumstances I'd pan them for omitting a major item, but the heartfelt apolgies (from two people) were sufficient. Both sandwiches were delicious. However - if we hadn't made the discovery until we were back on the highway, I would definitely have been pretty upset.
