I called to speak to the staff about this and spoke with some very rude lady who took no accountability she just said "that's corporates website" "we're not a corporate store" then she kept carrying on about how she can't control what google shows ‍ she just couldn't grasp it's the Taco Bell website that shows they still serve breakfast. I will never eat at another taco bell in this town again. They were "bought out" by another company and have completely gone even more down hill. I think the residents in this town expected the service at this location to be better but somehow they managed to make it worse. Long time customer lost.

The restaurant is large inside and can easily accommodate dinner group sizes. The menu options are straightforward. They have different variations of a burger and hot dog. I opted for the Papa Burger. The service was okay, the waitress kept telling me certain things weren't on the burger when the menu clearly stated what comes on the burger. Overall, the burger was good. I also tried a few bites of my husband's mushroom onion melt burger. That was really tasty as well. I would definitely visit again!

I ordered the blue burger with a pretzel bun, and that bun upgrade is the move. I'm a bleu cheese lover, so take that for what it's worth, but this was the best bacon and bleu burger I've had. They combine the bleu cheese crumbles with cream cheese, which mellows that stronger flavor without losing the goodness. Even if bleu cheese isn't usually your thing, this one deserves a shot. My advice? Find someone to split a burger with so you have room for fries AND onion rings. No regrets. The service made the whole experience even better. You can tell these folks care about more than serving a great meal -- they want you to enjoy your time in Traverse City, too. An easy 10/10!

But for Normal people, who eat a Normal amount of food... Soooo much waste. Atmosphere was not great. Crowded layout, couldn't get through to our table with a small wheelchair. Dingy and dated decor, and staff dress code... well that doesn't seem to exist. Not classy, Not necessarily family friendly due to what the servers dressing like...let's just say... inappropriate...and leave it at that. So if you would like to eat 3000-4000 cal in one setting or you bring a friend who is willing to split an entree and you don't care about esthetics, then this place had good food and would be worth a visit.

Amazing breakfast sandwiches. Incredible attitudes and service! And apparently, an absolutely enormous heart. I still follow Oakwood Proper Burgers on social media, despite living hundreds of miles away and having no idea when we'll be back. Why? Because these people are an absolute inspiration. First, I watched them rally around someone battling illness from ANOTHER burger restaurant. Yes, they were helping someone from the competition. Imagine that! And now they're giving away free breakfast sandwiches to bring people together for a little human connection. Seriously, who ARE these people?! They're fun, they make fantastic food, and they seem determined to make the world a little better, one burger and one act of kindness at a time.
