Please fire the older lady manager. I went through the drive thru yesterday morning. The order total came to $4.01. She asked me if I wanted to round it up to $5 for charity. I said no thanks. As I started to pull around, she yells through the speaker, "Cheap Motherf*****"! I yelled the same thing back. Now she knows I heard her. I drove around and after she said sorry, I asked for a manager. She said she is the manager. We all have bad days but there is no excuse for yelling that at a customer, and she certainly shouldn't be on that speaker. The girl at the next window gave me the 800# to call so I did. Oatmeal was very dry and not mixed up- o apples.... Had to recook it at home. Took FIFTEEN minutes to get an iced Caramel macchiato in the drive through- they served two others before mine and I was the first one put into the wait positions. Beware the management. On August 24 I placed a $30 order by the App which locked up But still charged me. When I attempted to get the order or even cancel it, the manager charged me for a new order and said corporate would refund my app purchase. Guess what? Corporate said the local store would refund my purchase in 4 days and closed my dispute. It's been over 10 days and I'm now attempting to deny payment through my card company. If you want the worse food and service, this is the place! I ordered a salad at the drive through and it was given to the customer in the car ahead of me. The customer opened it up and threw it back to the 14 year old behind the counter. He had no idea what the customer ordered. All the worker said, "Have a nice day!" So after awhile, he got his burgers, the salad was now thrown into my car. With no cover and the chicken in the plastic bag rather than on the salad. I asked if the dressing was in there, the answer? Today we went to get dinner and the food that we got took so long to get and the bacon ranch salad my wife got the chicken was cold and the salad was not even fresh like they say Now the happy meal that I got for my son that is 5 years old. U should get a ranch correct. I understand sometimes you need cheap food on the run, and to be honest, I've been here a few times and it got the job done. But last time I was here I bit into to a burger that was so ungodly salty that it made my face pucker. When I pulled out the patty to look at it it had visible flakes of salt all over it. How did this happen? And what other quality concerns have I not caught and ingested into my body? If you want a decent burger that's cheap, head to A&W just down in Frankfort. We rarely get McDonald's. When we do, we usually use the drive thru. This location is the nearest to us. We have never gotten a correct order from them. I once ordered a sausage breakfast sandwich. I didn't notice anything wrong until I bit into the sandwich. They had put a burger patty on it. My husband has ordered cheeseburgers and then gotten home to realize there is no cheese on the sandwiches. And just now, I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. When I opened it, surprise! It was sausage instead of bacon. If you visit this location, either go in or check all of your food before pulling away from the window. I, however, am never going back. Worst McDonalds ever. Just a few examples of Experiences I've had over the years: Hamburger in Happy Meal had no beef patty. Hair in a Big Mac. 30 minute wait in drive-thru. 20 minute wait for a Sausage McMuffin. Less than warm fish patty in Filet o Fish w 1/3 of cheese slice. Last visit was the last forever. I have no problems with McDonald's. This location however is absolutely horrible. We travel to this area every year for 2 weeks of vacation. We USED to frequent this location 4-5 times while on vacation. This year we attempted to do a mobile order and pick up. When we went to check in it said they were closed for this service. We ended up going through the drive thru and had to pay more for our order because we had used the app and used deals. We tried it again a second time, once again using the app. Well, when we went to get our food they made me pay for my chicken nuggets even though they had already been paid for on the app. We tried to show the manager where we had been charged. She would not look and or give us our food until we paid AGAIN. She was very rude to us and would not give us any customer service what so ever and told us if we had a number to call the 1800 number. Upon walking in, I noticed that the windows were smudged and had a film all over them. The stainless steel was all dirty, as well as all of the counters and dispensers. Nothing was dusted and ALL of the employees looked dirty too. YUCK!!!!!! In my opinion, this filthy place doesn't even deserve one star!!! Firstly, I walked up to the counter to order and the cashier that took my order had a mean scowl on her face. She was unkempt and uncleanly. I couldn't believe that she even touched my carryout order after handling my money. Secondly, I went to get a water from the fountain of drinks, only to be disgusted by the caked on syrups from the soda machine. I then tried to get ketchup from that dispenser, when the ketchup that ran out of the line was discolored and old looking, with a fowl smell. Thirdly, I received my order consisting of two sausage mcmuffins and a hash brown, all of which were burnt. I brought them back to the counter, where I spoke to the MOD. I asked her if that was the McDonald's standard way of cooking their food? She said that that is the way their toaster toasts. So, I asked her if that is the way McDonald's wants it done? She rolled her eyes at me, spoke to the line cook and handed me two more breakfast sandwiches that were cold with cheese that was the consistency of a rubber band. On my tray was a complimentary apple pie that was also burnt. I hope that the owner of this restaurant is reading this carefully. It is truly unfair to the people of this community to have such a dirty place to eat, especially when it is the only fast food restaurant in Benzie County! I WON'T BE BACK! read more

I have lived up north 2 yrs and go to Mcdonalds regularly and I must say I have gotten to know the staff very hard workers and so nice. Judy,Cathy,Mandy,Vince, and so many others. You have the best people working for you and I'm sorry I had to leave the area. I'm gonna really miss everyone but who knows maybe someday be back up. I have lived in the area my entire life. This location needs some serious attention! Most staff seems very untrained, the wait for the drive-thru is beyond ridiculous!! Not to mention our order is always missing something, I get once and awhile as you are crazy busy but really every time?? At one particular visit an elderly man who works there was taking out garbage cleaning the parking lot while a bunch of young punks working behind the counter are horsing around, being loud and annoying!
