I had the pistachio matcha with strawberry cold foam and a spinach/feta pastry. Both were good choices. You can order at the register or from a QR code and they'll call you to come get it. It's so casual and laid back. This adorable hangout would melt away any work frazzles I could possible walk in with. I love the low ceilings and the vintage hardwood floors and the slouchy couch and the eastern light streaming in the front window of this older, repurposed home. There's original artwork everywhere, including the ceiling (some of it's for sale). There's also a rack of clothing items, jewelry, scrunchies and other items for sale. I love the eclectic vibe-and the guitar propped up by the front window. Phoebe could definitely sing "Smelly Cat" here. Heck, they're so welcoming here, Ross could probably set up his keyboard and share "the sound." They DO have live music here-and a side patio. There's some parking up front and extra parking in back. When my order was a bit complicated ( due to my 4 hour drive back to miami) Sharra made sure to replay my demands to the chef who had no problem accommodating me. I did not get his name but it was the young man on Shara's shift with the dread locks, medium build about 23 years of Age looking. Nonetheless, I want to say thank you Jason's for always being so extra welcoming and attentive. I do want to say that the first visit was with a causacian woman. Things I did not love about Jason's: too long to order, the place was incredibly LOUD, with screaming children and crying babies as far as the ear could hear, the potato chips that came with my sandwich were all broken into tiny pieces, the ice cream in the machine was a melty blob, and the muffins that looked like chocolate were actually gingerbread, and terrible, so don't be fooled. That 8.5/10 was WELL deserved. The food was fresh, the price was right, Kay enjoyed it too, and those wings are STILL on my mind. Getting all of that food for less than $30 definitely made this one even better. We left full, happy, and already talking about what we want to try when we come back. And trust me... I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK! There are way too many things I still need to try, especially some more of those wings! Another food adventure for the books.
