This was by far the most unfriendly crazy subways chain I ever had the misfortune to step foot into. Or ANY establishment for that matter. Places like these have such a negative energy that makes the food tantamount to poison. I went into this one first time in April. I was quiet as I am new in town. But one of the girls working there seem to befriend me by noticing I was a police officer. So being my nature, I opened up and can be "talky." In any case, I was there all of 5 minutes. I left and thought the suggestion the girl gave me regarding the wrap was so good, I called the Subways to see if they had a survey. I always like to give good feedback when I think it's warranted. The person who served me answered and without even saying hold on or something, immediately put me on phone with another. Confused as I felt, I asked and she said no! There's no survey! Very mean I will add. I blew it off. Went back a month later, different crew, they were nice, exchanged pleasantries and all was fine. Got my order and left. Again, all of 5 minutes. Another month later I went back. Whoever this girl was whom I never saw before looked upon me with such disdain, I couldn't for the life of me figure out what her problem was. I didn't think it with me for. Sure. I'm way too friendly for that. All of 5 or less minutes I got order and left. Returned the next month. Same girl, same attitude. I figured maybe she's going through hard times and or didn't like working there. Got order fast and left. Went back the next month, I waited what seem long. I bought a bag of chips and told same girl "Thank you dear" and preceded to walk out with chips in bag in hand. Police came rushing in like I was holding up the place! This was straight out of the Twilight Zone!!! If Rod Serling popped out I would not have been more surprised!! In the end, I was accused of "harassing" the employees!!!??? I couldn't be more friendly. And I'm not intimidating in the least, being non assuming and all of 5'4". If ever there must have been a major misunderstanding, it was there. Shame. Shame on them. And the police, which job I know we'll, not even to do their job and "assess" the situation, which any rookie could have done in seconds where I'm from, actually entertained this non sense! A tainted image on their part. I was so disappointed in them. I think there was more going on there than would meet the eye, but I'll say nothing more on that part. I was asked not to return there. My God! Bizarro Land! No problem. I as a result, will Never patronize ANY Subways again. No loss on my part to be sure. I never cared for it anyway, it just happen to be convenient. I have no enemies in life. And those I don't know yet are not strangers, but friends I have yet to meet. And so it's been everywhere else. I tell this story to others and they jump to my aid saying things like "if I were there I would have sure spoken up for you cause you are a real human being and so geuinely kind and friendly!" Never in my life have I ever experienced anything remotely close! Obviously!! There I was protection none of them asked for and money I think they sure could have used. And that of my families and numerous friends and workers in the area. Oh well! Oopps!! Thanks for the warm welcome to my new home! I almost wanted to move no sooner than I arrived. I'm sure the police are every bit as great as I know the firemen and woman are, just a really bad handling, which in this case they did not, on their part. And though this establishment does not deserve it, may they all have a wonderful holiday season :/ read more
