The drinks are fountain drinks with Coke products but the iced tea that was offered look like a machine from the 70s. Did not look fresh or appetizing. The sandwiches are served quickly and they come in a basket served with a pickle. Combos come with a sandwich and your choice of soup, chips, or salad. They are priced accordingly. There are about 15 tables in the restaurant with vinyl green and white checkered tablecloth. The sandwich was fine for the area. Price was very reasonable.

While the sandwiches were not the best I have ever had, they were very tasty and left me happy and satisfied. The prices were fantastic and our meal was very affordable. Unfortunately the soup was not my favorite. It reminded me a little of canned soup, so personally I would pass on it next time. My grandma came with us as well and though she doesn't like to go out to eat much any more, she did enjoy the meal we had here. Better Day Cafe also has a lot of coffee options and baked goods. If it were in town longer I definitely would have come back to get just some coffee and hangout. After years of visiting Storm Lake I didn't know this cafe existed until now.
