Chipotle in Sioux City is always a solid and consistent place we go to when we need a quick meal. This Chipotle is clean, quiet, and quick. I typically like to order ahead on my app while our family is on the go. They make it so easy to go in a pick up your order. We also eat a vegetarian diet and of course Chipotle is epic with their options for dietary restrictions and we love getting their tofu option for our protein. It's my first time at a chipotle but it was a good experience. It was a little off putting to walk into a restaurant that smelled like a pool house or aquarium, though. We were told we couldn't order without a mask when 3 kids in front of us without masks had just ordered. We thought the person was a little rude about it. That's fine with us. We won't be back. Frankly we are tired of this mask BS and are only going to support businesses who don't turn customers away for standing in the door waiting to be seated or waiting to order without a mask. This process takes few minutes. Anyone who thinks this rule makes sense is without sense. This happened on 02/15/2021. I believe the Govender lifted the mask mandate along with several other COVID related restrictions about a month ago. Like I said, my lunch crew spend our money elsewhere for lunch. read more

Chipotle is one of my favourite restaurants. I'm from Texas and they don't have one in Sioux falls, so it was nice to see one in Sioux City. The employees were nice and the food was delicious as always. It was neat to see that one of the employees went on break and was eating, a customer came in and immediately got up to help them. But another employee was kind enough and told her to sit down and he'd take care of them. Good experience. read more

Store recently opened end of march of this year, had a few hiccups the first time I was there on opening day like a guy not understanding why I didn't want a ripped tortilla with my burrito, but every time I have been there since it has been just as great as I expect from Chipotle, there were only lines through the dining room the first week, very good service, quick knowledgeable servers, steak is great and juicy. I like the chicken and steak the best, well seasoned too, I usually ask for extra rice also as the cilantro lime rice is so nice! Burrito bowl is a less cumbersome eating experience than the burritos also with generous portions. Clean store, ordering through smartphone app goes well too, you can set a pick up time 20 min or more in the future and when you come in go straight to the cash register, if they don't have it ready they will make it quick with the receipt between other orders super quick! read more

And I can forgive the small mess because I did come right after the lunch rush!!! The last 2 times I have been to chipotle once they didn't have chicken available that day and the next time the chicken was going to be ready in about 10 minutes. I like chipotle but the last 2 times I left disappointed because they were not organized enough to have ingredients ready. I was in a hurry the second time so luckily there was a quick Jimmy Johns down the road. I hope to see chipotle more prepared in the future or they may lose me as a customer. read more

I have mixed feelings about this location. The customer service, mainly the cashier, is pretty much on point as everyone is pretty nice here, but value is severely lacking at this establishment. As stated in a previous review the consistency of the portions are WAY off. I ordered a chicken bowl and it was pretty standard on what you'll get from any other Chipotle, but my partner ordered the same exact thing and I was baffled when I saw his bowl because there was BARELY anything there. I shouldn't be able to see the bottom of a bowl when no bites were taken. I understand it's not some fancy restaurant, but seriously... don't stiff your customers. The second time I ordered my bowl I received outstanding service from the cashier, I apologize I do not know her name, but when I sat down I found multiple hairs in my food. I have been to many Chipotle's and I just feel this one is lacking in comparison. Qdoba offers the same thing. I'll probably be giving them a try. read more

Not recommended. Terrible store arrangement where you have to pass through the waiting line in order to get in line, and you will be waiting due to slow production and people simply walking in and assuming the line starts at the door, disregarding the thirty people behind them.The food itself is the same as every other chipotle, however they seem to have opted for gristle rather than the steak they used to serve. During my prolonged queue, I had time to note the filthy dining room and mass confusion behind the counter. I somehow ended up with the burrito I saw the guy in front of me order after it was all said and done. Big disappointment having been a long time chipotle fan. Fortunately there is a qdoba across the street. read more
