It's a Subway. Bread, meat, and veggies. It's clean and well maintained. It's at a gas station so you grab a sandwich and a snickers. :)

Need a snack? Craving the best soft pretzel you've ever had? Look no further than Ben's Soft…read morePretzels. Situated across the street from E&S grocery store. This "famous" little gem is known for its delicious pretzels and other scrumptious pretzel dough based delights. We started with the regular pretzel and purchased nacho cheese and sweet mustard sauce accompaniments for $1 each. The pretzel was exactly what we had hoped for...light, airy, doughy, but with a crunchy exterior. The whole family enjoyed splitting one pretzel. Afterward, I was still feeling a bit peckish. I decided to order myself an ice coffee along with a pretzel dough rolled all beef hotdog with melted Swiss cheese sandwiched inside. Love at first bite. The whole experience was HEAVEN. I've never had more tasty "junk" food in my life. Dip it in the sweet mustard accompaniment (trust me) for the ultimate tastebud sensory experience. I think we spent under $15 for all the stuff. Extremely reasonable and you can go for a snack or a meal. So many treats and a friendly/ hardworking staff made the whole experience delightful.

I'm glad for ANY Amish business that succeeds outside the confines of it's hood, in this case Shipshewana is where Ben's Soft Pretzels started by an AMISH FAMILY! So happy for them, F this modern world and modern people can go to you know where both literally and figuratively. Amish people are some of the last people on Earth who keep it real. Spiritual, real knowledge, real skills, quality. Did I say F THE MODERN WORLD PEOPLE already?!! Yeah, good.

The employees were very friendly and helpful as well - the self serve kiosk was glitching out and the manager was able to cancel the transaction so we could get our order to go through at the in person register. Because of the incident the manager very kindly offered to give us a free item from the menu and so we both got the Cajun fries! The fries also were excellent and really flavorful! The rest stop cafeteria is very clean and well maintained. I'm glad we stopped here for an early lunch on our drive to see family for thanksgiving.

Had to be due to being on the Toll road. I eventualy decided on the two piece combo meal, that comes with a drum, a thigh, a biscuit, a side and a drink. A few minutes later I was handed my order. The sauce packets are behind the counter so I asked for a few of the Louisana Hot sauce ones. The pop machine is a communal one for all of the restaurants in the plazza. I filled my cup up and chose a seat. I was given two drums instead of what was pictured. I got mashed potatoes as my side. Those were good. The bisucuit tasted old. Chicken was okay. The bill was $14.97 for it all. They were out of pennies so $15.00 total.
