During our most recent trip from Boston to Rochester, we stopped at a nearly empty Iroquois Travel Plaza and were pleased with this Chick-fil-A option. The rest stop was very clean with plenty of comfortable seating, our chicken sandwiches and waffle fries were served promptly by a friendly employee. And they were nice and hot! Luckily, I was able to find the secret entrance to the service area without having to get on thruway. While, I was so happy and lucky to find the secret passage was not so happy with my meal and the service received at this location. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of any of the locations on the thruway as they tend to be sub par. Location was not busy but staff took quite awhile to take and fulfill orders. Like all non freestanding locations they do not use the chick fil an app to take orders, earn points, and pay through app. Additionally, they do not offer chicken strips. Food tasted like it had refrigerator burn and had been reheated and did not taste fresh. Service was slow and had to wait a considerable amount of time for service. While it is a great fast food, food choice on thruway it is really not worth it given cost and quality of food.

This is including one instance where a manager called an employee a "r***rd" after sweeping the floor. Normally Arby's doesn't impress me, the curly fries are the only saving grace, but if this restaurant gets even the curly fries wrong, it doesn't convince me to come back.
