Norwich NY has a free summer concert music series so it's ideal to stop in here, like we did, before the show. I have fever, chills, vomiting, and diarrhea for six days and lost two days at work as a result of indulging in fast food that night! When the food was brought out it was handed to me by a rather unpleasant employee who offered no apology for the wait, or even a simple greeting at all. I left and the disappointment continued as when I opened the wrappers which were all covered in a combo of mayo and hot sauce, I knew I had made a severely poor choice for a lunch option. The sandwiches had no coleslaw on any of them, and if I had to guess they put the mayo on with a bucket and shovel since there appeared to be about a 1/2 quart on each on. Equally sloppy was the hot sauce which basically soaked the buns to the point of inedible. The sandwiches were thrown together with ZERO concern for quality. This is by far the worst KFC I have ever been to. I had a remarkably similar experience when I had foolishly stopped there more than a year ago. I had heard they had new management and things had improved, that was obviously wrong and it may have been worse than my previous experience. I had considered driving back and talking to the manager, but that approach led to me being told to file a complaint with corporate since they can't refund anything through the app. Horrible service, appalling food, and just an overall bad experience. If there was a Popeyes or a Chick-fil-A here, this place would have been closed long ago. My advice, save your money, time, and aggravation and avoid this location. And just for anyone curious, it's a split Taco Bell restaurant, which can only facilitate order through the KFC app. Anything you want from Taco Bell has to be ordered in person and be prepared as they don't offer the full menu of normal locations, and are staffed by the same team that makes the KFC. If you decide to stop in, don't say you were not warned if you have read this review.
