Don't let the outside fool you. Inside is clean and bright. The prices are excellent. Our bill came to $18 for two omelets. They were tasty. The cheese was really good and the coffee was fantastic. Friendly staff also. The hours are somewhat limited. They close at 2:45pm. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!

If you are in the area, this is a decent diner for breakfast and lunch. I had the corned beef Reuben sandwich and it was good. The happy cowboy was a bbq beef sandwich. I didn't like it as much since the sauce made the bread a bit soggy. It did take a long time for the food to come out, but the service was friendly. I will probably be back to try some other items.

Friendly service and solid omelettes and home fries for breakfast. Better value that the other in town.

The Norwich Diner is now Charlie's Diner. Easily the best breakfast in town. Friendly and quick service a big plus.

So I'm on my way home and I'm driving near Norwich and I Google search chocolate shops in the area,…read moreand nothing really comes up but this particular donut shop/ bakery did so I figured close enough let's give it a shot. I walk in, the place looks nice and clean and they had a couple little racks of pastries and slices of pie and this other rack full of donuts. Not just plain donuts, but some cool specialty donuts. So I figure who doesn't like a decent donut? I grabbed a six pack. While there I was talking to the girl behind the counter and I asked if they could make a key lime pie. (Doesn't look like the kind of place that would be able to pull it off but the sign out front does say bakery.) . She took down my name and number and said the owners would give me a call tomorrow to discuss it. So far my wife and I have only had a couple of the donuts that I bought however they were very good. I would place them definitely in front of Dunkin donuts because in my opinion those taste more like cake, but not quite as good as Krispy Kreme. Not that that's a bad thing because who wants to drive to Pennsylvania for a donut? (Well okay I kind of do but I'm in that area anyways from time to time) I am planning on stopping back here at least one more time this month as one of the donuts in the selection was a peanut butter and jelly. Doesn't sound very good to say it out loud however the girl behind the counter said they're actually pretty good and my wife kind of seems interested in trying it because well it is rather different.

Awesome donuts and apple fritters are amazing! Get there early so you don't miss out! Great…read morebusiness!
