Homemade tortilla, hot ingredients, great flavor, good salsa, yup it's all there. On a recent out of town stretch I didn't find a breakfast burrito nearly as good as the one I grabbed at Pancho's. Ordering what's a bit tricky, I think the order taker and I just struggled to get on the same page. But, after we did the food came quick, was piping hot and Oh so flavorful! The bright side is that this place is open 24 hours; so you can hit the drive-thru at anytime - especially if you are an early riser or a night owl. The lines and wait can be pretty long depending on the time of day. There is no inside service... Food itself can be hit or miss. You can order the same thing twice and have different experiences. Their burritos are my go-to as they are filling and affordably priced. They also have combination plates of tacos and rice, which are not too bad. Service at the window can be hit or miss. As of July '25 they have raised the prices on the burritos and now charge for the sauce (which is also rationed and you get one packet per order)..... Not bad if you don't mind the wait and the drive-thru ambiance...

One of the staff members helping was the manager's daughter, and despite the growing crowd and nonstop activity, everyone maintained such genuinely positive attitudes that the entire place felt unexpectedly uplifting. The manager himself took time to speak with us and shared how grateful he was for the kindness and generosity shown by the owners of the establishment. There was something deeply sincere and humble about the conversation that stayed with me long after we left. It reminded me that there are still genuinely good-hearted people out there quietly doing the right thing without fanfare. As for the food, we kept things simple -- burgers, fries, and onion rings. Nothing particularly fancy, but perfectly passable for a Thanksgiving travel lunch. But honestly, the food was not what made this stop memorable. It was the spirit of the place. Kansas is often considered part of the American heartland, and sitting there on Thanksgiving Day watching exhausted travelers, hardworking employees, and grateful customers all crossing paths together somehow felt like a small glimpse into the kindness and resilience that still exists quietly across the country. To make it worse, they allow delivery service drivers to go through the line normally and collect their orders as such (8 for one person- being put together, by one person).
