The food is good and the staff is friendly. However, they seem to run out of stuff or equipment break down from time to time. We do go here semi frequently, and usually get what we want. read more

I come here all the time and they're usually fully staffed, but not today at 4:45 pm. There were three people ahead of me when I got there, but Aleesha was alone and she handled it like a boss. Kudos to her. She didn't get flustered, upset or complain. She was cool as a cucumber while I and then the person behind me waited. Good job Aleesha! read more

I've always been impressed with the subway chain because they use gloves, maybe the only one I can think of that does. Even back in the late 80s when I first went into a subway they use gloves and no other chain did. Well it's a new world with coronavirus and subway shop is still open and I thought they would've stepped up Their game and lead the fight against the spread of COVID-19, But no. Yes they always wear gloves, yes they had a new way of separating customers so that I was at least 15 feet away from the customer who was being served making their sandwich. My question is if it is so important for us to stay 6 feet away because the virus can be in our saliva and be sprayed to someone close to us, Then it is also possible that the worker assembling your sandwich who is standing directly over it within 20 inches of it should be masked especially when most of the sandwiches are not cooked. For example if it were a pizza place and someone had some spittle jump off their lip and land on my pizza when it went through the oven it would kill the virus I would assume but then like that could still happen when they're taking the pizza out and cutting it so how come no one on the news or government officials have spoken about restaurant workers Spreading the virus while preparing the food? I know this is all hard for everyone but it seems like that would be an obvious place to start. Come on subway. read more

Today I've never felt more out of place or embarrassed. Your employee started making my order and was from the get-go obviously irritated. The other employee who was headed on break said something about possibly not getting something done and this lady's reply was "I will hold you personally responsible if it doesn't" in the nastiest tone of voice. So now I realize she's most definitely in a bad mood. Then in comes a large group who did a order. The girl who is off the clock tells her they are the ones with the order. This lady turns to them in the iciest voice and tells them you have to wait I'm the only one working. Then she puts my sandwiches at the front to pay (mind you I was the only one in there before this group entered) and after I pay I grab the 2 bags that are put in front of me. I had 3 sandwiches made, one was a small one so I figured these two bags were for me. As I walk alway she yells in again a nasty and demeaning voice "That is NOT your sandwich." I brought it back to her (I was maybe one step away from the counter) and she grabbed it out of my hands. I was so embarrassed that she was so unprofessional. One, don't treat customers like garbage. Two, don't place multiple bags of food next to one another without telling the customer it wasn't theirs. Three never yell at a customer. I'm really sad to say this but I truly hope this woman is reprimanded for her behavior. She is ruining your business and your profits. Rosamond is a small community. These kind of interactions can destroy your business. read more

The food here is the same old Subway selection, although many times not the freshest. However, their customer service is discriminating and un human like. There is a local homeless man who never begs, causes no problems, and has lived in our small community since he was a child; we embrace and watch over him as a community. My husband was in the shopping plaza today and saw Billy, asked him if he wanted his usual blue Gatorade, and if he was hungry. He said yes. My husband took him into Subway. The person behind the counter said she would not serve Billy because "he throws his food down". My husband said it was for himself. I don't understand how this store believes they are the environment or litter police, but maybe they could send their employees out into the parking lot to pick up trash in their down time if they care so much, and not worry about what paying customers do with their food after they leave the store. I will never be back to this location! read more

In a world Full of places to eat, even if you are a standard, you must stand out to make it.... or so i thought.... Alas my friends we have Subway, of the flourishing town of Rosamond California. if asked to provide a descriptive review in a single sentence i would say "a Mediocre place with all the right ingredients on the table and just enough brain cells not to close" But, Thank whatever non-Denominational Lord you pray to, or choose not to believe in, I have far more than a single sentence to describe my Gripe, and so Bon Apetite, here is the low down.... I wish you all to meet the worst thing to happen to sandwich making since the 1950's (Estimated). I will not mention her name. While She does make a good sandwich, you will very likely Die and completely Decompose into dust before she has even asked you what dressing you would like. her lackluster attitude towards her job is either the most irritating thing you have ever seen, or simply so frustrating that you laugh out loud and make jokes about how milenials are lazy and frustrating.... the latter rarely happens, it is usually just frustrating. then there are people like the Girl who literally can not remember more than a single ingredient at a time, but thankfully, they are assisted by a few people who know how to make a sandwich well, AND in a timely manner. if you want a sandwich, go here, but don't be in a hurry and feel free to laugh at the god awful slow one. you all know who she is. don't lie. :) read more

To the Gentleman on the previous post: The restraunt isn't dirty and I completely agree with the parental advice. However, I had the WORST expeirence today. Im sooo upset right now. First off, let me start by saying I managed a Subway when I was a mere 17 years old. It is not complicating. You make schedules, buy inventory and report to your GM. Employee relations etc. Now, I am no longer 17 and I no longer work in the food industry as a "sandwich artist", but I am however in the Human Resoucres feild and I know alot about customer Service. Alot of what I learned from Subway's policies, such as noticing a person within 3 seconds from when they walk in the door. I learned the rest through college and my current job. This morning, I walked into my local Subway (BTW the subway on L and 10th in Lancaster is the BEST). I wanted to order the 2 english muffins and the coffee deal. I never do this, but this morning I wanted to get my honey some breakfast. There was one young boy and he was pleasant at first. I asked him for the english muffins and he said, were all out. okay, I asked him if there was a substitue and he said the bread. Okay again, and I ordered 1 sunrise on wheat and 1 sausage on wheat. He continues to tell me, Were out of Sausage, and blames his General Manager for poor control of the inventory. ( I know this trick and it works). So I tell him thats fine, make it 2 sunrise sandwiches on Wheat! :) I then proceed to tell him, I would still like the $2.50 meal. You know, where you get a breakfast sanwich and a coffee for $2.50, the entire point of my being there and not McDonalds for the Oatmeal. The kid tells me, no. He cannot do that for me and he is just a sandwich artist. Ok, I tell him, I believe there is a way this can be done. If he cant do it himself, he can call the manager who failed to buy the necessities to operate a decent subway, and ask him to do it. (I didnt actually say that) just to call the manager and ask him how this can be done. The kid then said, No. He is in a business meeting in Los Angeles. Now, I am a proffessional person and I know common scense says, its 7:20 in the am, and the meeting probably doesn't start until 8 am. So I ask the kid can you at least try to call and he told me no. Then he says, he doesnt know how to give me a discount on the new system. (oh please). And then he says if he gives me a discount the manager will take the money from his paycheck. (Really kid??) moving on, I handed the kid my debit card. He swiped it and threw it back at me. (I SWEAR HE THREW IT AT ME). He then said, it's too early for you and for this. I said, you opened at 7am, it shouldn't be too early for you, and I am not doing anything wrong to you. I also told him he was being extremly rude to me. He replied that I was rude. WOW. and then I asked him for the GM's phone number and he yelled it out loud extremly fast. I had to find a pen and write it down myself. I told him again he was being very rude to me and he said, I must be hallucenitang. Then he said Good Luck to me. I said it back and he said Good luck for what? I said Good luck with your job. Then he said other things but I left. The truth of it is, I liked this subway. Every time I went in there they were so pleasant. Now, I will never go back there. They are always high and playing loud music. They are always out of stuff and they curse. The Manager needs to work on this place big time. read more

I've been coming to this subway since its been here. Today I will say I will never be going back! The lady behind the counter had a horrible attitude. As I'm trying to ask my kids what they want on there sandwiches she proceeds to yell Excuse me but what do you want on this sandwich? I tell her I'm trying to figure that out. I ordered the new Turkey Bacon Guacamole sandwich well with her horrible attitude I guess she didn't understand what I said. I even pointed at the picture for her. She ends up making the wrong sandwich and I tell her that's not what I ordered. She says in her shitty tone "yes you did" Then grabs the sandwich and takes it and says fine I will make another one then throws the sandwich in the trash while walking away shaking her head making some stupid grunting noise all loud. Long story short I didn't get my sandwich cause she was such a complete bitch I just wanted to leave. The other women there was very nice and discounted me for my other sandwiches and apologized for her coworkers bad attitude. At the end of the day your making sandwiches it's not rocket science. And if you don't like your job don't take it out on your costumers. It's us costumers that make your paycheck. read more
