At the counter, you can order food (which is what I came for)! They make it fresh to order. I had an al pastor taco and a tamale. Along with a bottle of water, my total was around $3.75. Can't beat it! Everything tasted great; I ate in my car before continuing on my way. I used to live in LA and was used to super authentic Mexican food. Hard to find in the Hampton Roads/Eastern Shore area. That being said, this was one of the better places that I've tried; tasted like authentic street fare. Instead it's tucked inside of convenience store/gas station that goes by the name of Goose Creek. For the gas portion everything was A-OK as the store has a fair number of pumps, everything was as clean as a gas station could be and the price at $1.89 a gallon for regular was great especially when compared to the 20-23 cents more per gallon that I'm paying at home thanks to our former Gov. one term Tommy Corbett. The Subway more or less looked the same as any other with the exception that they do not have the regular cooler full of bottled drinks, apples and other stuff. Maybe they sell it but I wasn't buying any so I didn't ask/care. Same sandwiches and same prices that you would find anywhere with the only downside being that only one person was working and things were fairly busy plus the woman in front of me had a list of things she wanted in a particular way + she had to stop twice to text someone as to exactly how many pickles they wanted along with exactly how much mayo they wanted. All of that equaled a super slow deal but I suppose it wasn't unbearable so whatever. Gas + food + a super easy on/off highway location makes this one a winner in my book.
