1/7/25 Getting breakfast for tomorrow. Ordered conveniently to pick up on DoorDash a steak & egg herb & cheese breakfast sandwich loaded with veggies. Paid for it on there and went to pick it up! Arrive, and order us waiting in their pick up area with my name on it for grab. Got it and days thank you along with a thank you back!=) Restaurant is safe and clean! 1/08/25 Happy Wednesday everyone! Breakfast sandwich split. My half was fresh & good! It's a lot. Half was enough. Leftovers! Only thing is there wasn't very much steak, but still good! Plus, I wish they did egg white. I'm sure mother will feel the same when she gets up to have hers. Sadly we did not open the box when we picked up pizza. we were there early so it did not sit around. Most dry pizza we've ever seen....craters of the moon. Cheese literally evaporated. lol everyone in town told us that we should've taken the pizza back because they are really nice people and they would've made it right. We were just so tired from our days activities that we just wanted to eat and relax so we crunched away on our pizza. Our advice would be to look at it before you take it back to your cabin. read more

Personally I love Subway but I need to mention they are not all alike. The Prather, California location is the best. They are generous with ingredients, always have fresh baked breads, and their salads are awesome! They chop the lettuce or spinach and they really pack the take home bowls. I can usually get two meals from one salad. Living in the mountains gives us low restaurant choices. Subway has great staff. Always working as a team. Try this location. You won't be disappointed. read more

This was one of the best subway I have been to. The young man made me a delicious sandwich which tasted different than the other 100 subways that i had eaten. I think he put his tru attention into each part of it. He recommended tea for me to drink and it was a different kind I had not seen before . It was definitely amazing. The lady working there with him was very nice too. She assisted him to ring me up. We had a very uplifting conversation and then we discussed driving safely in the weather because it was snowing like crazy. The young man who recommended the delicious drink and prepared my sub gave me a big surprise. Once I got in the car and gave my family the sandwiches I had just ordered they all asked me who made this sandwich because it was very good. Mommy duty conquered! read more

This is a great subway as far as subways go. It's clean they have fresh toppings and bread. Friendly staff and they are pretty quick. They get busy during the summer from the tourists, and in the winter from the snow crowd. Go see Shawna, she's the best! read more

Subway is a fast food chain that I don't cringe too much at patronizing. When I am on the road and needing a sandwich that has fresh ingredients, I usually look for a Subway. This particular one is located in a shopping center near the main thoroughfare through town. It's easy to swing by and get a sandwich to go. This one is a shop that I've stopped at a few times when on my way into the Edison Lake area to do a bit of backpacking. It's kept reasonably clean and the people working there were attentive and cheerful. read more

Came here during rush and let me tell ya, I've never seen any two workers work as fast making sandwiches. Sometimes we get impatient sometimes but I can appreciate the effort put forth by these two employees. There must have been 8 people in line. It is hard to mess up a sandwich your basically making yourself. Sandwiches are always good though. read more

Eat fresh... from three days ago. The food isn't that bad it is subway so it is definitely not high quality top tier meat but it is okay. The staff is always welcoming and the environment is chill. The food is more of a 3 stars it is definitely better than other subways though. If you are hungry and need a quick overpriced meal come to subway. I feel odd giving it 4 stars with this review but it is a good place it is just not great quality overpriced food, but good staff! read more

Stopped in on a Sunday evening desperate for a place to eat on our way back from Shaver Lake. The restaurant was extremely clean, including the restrooms, and the service was great. The woman who took our order (I think her name was Miranda) was very friendly and helpful. In a chain restaurant like Subway, it's the employees who make the difference between a good experience and a bad one, and Miranda gets a big thumbs-up from our family. read more

I ordered lunch online from Subway over a week ago. I had ordered a turkey wrap, an avocado/steak sandwich and a meatball sub along with 3 fountain drinks and 3 chips all for pickup. My order was pretty detailed and specific as to how and what I wanted to be added to my sandwiches. After my order had been placed I scheduled a time(2p.m.)that I could arrive to get them and they would be all ready to go. I should have double checked the bags that were packed with my food before leaving the establishment. The young lady that was working was pleasant enough and I really didn't think it necessary to check. Anyways, I get home and we open the bags to see which one is who's. Everything was correct and great except for the meatball sub. It looked like it had been thrown in the garbage and then picked back up with your messy fingers and thrown back into a bag. It wasn't wrapped or anything. You and I both know that a meatball sub can be pretty messy to begin with. But it looked like literally someone's hands had been covered in the sauce and then proceeded to try and fit it into a bag, meanwhile getting the sauce all over the bag and then thrown into a bigger bag with the rest of my order. It did not look appealing in any way. So we did have to take back one sandwich. Albeit, that I ordered the wrong sandwich, that's my bad though, but to present it the way that this person did? Did not go over too well with me or my friends. Actually I don't think it would have for anyone. But, I'm sure I will still give them another try in the future. The amount of eating establishments are pretty limited in Prather or Auberry, unfortunately. read more

For all of you that give this Subway a one star, I totally AGREE. I ate there one time and that was enough. All Subways suck, the worst sandwich chain in America. My suggestion is to go to the Mar Val Supermarket in the same shopping center and go to their deli. They make AMAZING sub sandwiches! And for less money than Subway. One of my favorite Subway locations!! The staff here is super awesome and always make bomb sandwiches. Corrie is always willing to go the extra mile to make my custom non menu item like it's her own. I enjoy coming here for breakfast and lunch being that it's the healthiest place in town and has the best/freshest selection of veggies. They make the make the best coffee in town too! read more

Never thought I'd review a Subway but this one deserves it (Meant to do the review in March but things got away from me). This place does a good sandwich and the dude making the sandwiches that day did seem to actually try to make a decent sandwich unlike many Subways I've been too where they seem to think if everything makes it into the bag, that's all that counts. Sandwich dude seemed to be slightly disgruntled but the place was busy, it was a Friday afternoon, the lady in front of me was a pain in the ass and the lady in line behind me seemed to feel that it was important to have actual physical contact with me at all times. I'd be annoyed too so sandwich guy gets free pass. The reason I'm actually doing this review is because of the bathrooms at this Subway. This joint is literally out in the middle of nowhere so I'm guessing most of their customers are just passing through and won't be repeat customers but whoever runs this place clearly makes sure the restrooms are spotless. I couldn't believe how freaking clean and pleasant smelling the restrooms at this Subway were, and again, it was a Friday afternoon and the place was busy. I actually made my girls get out of the car and use the bathroom because when you have kids on a road trip and you find a clean bathroom somewhere, you take advantage of it! Normally one would expect a roadside sandwich shop in a tiny out of the way town to have a bathroom that looked like a lab accident at the Center for Disease Control but not this place, their bathrooms are spotless, well stocked, and well maintained. If you're ever driving in this area and you're craving a six inch but you REALLY need to drop a foot long, find this Subway because it's got what you need! read more

Would give a zero star, if possible. Got violently sick by eating one of their tuna subs. Just saying you might want to steer clear of this establishments tuna. Should have changed my order when I saw them scrape at the bottom of the container...who would know? They really need to police the place and make sure the ingredients are from the current week, month, or year. Wow! As a tip.........Maybe pretend you are eating in a third world country, when you try the place. See the color is not changing to green or lots of blow flies, feasting away, on the food. Good luck. This is the subway most often visited by Crazy Bernie. Clean and we'll run. Food is fresh but meat usage is skimpy like all subways. Cookies are delicious. I get the meatball sub a lot which I love. Glad to have this choice for lunch so close to my house. read more

Just moved into town, came in to eat and use WiFi to get a few things situated. Management has instructed employees to NOT GIVE OUT WIFI PASSWORD....afraid people will sit in there for 8+'hours and steal the connection...too bad, pretty stingy....won't even give it to the employees...makes me think I'll go out of my way to find another sandwich shop....Nice work, Subway, welcome to the 1800's read more

This subway is the worst subway I've ever been to. I could see flies flying all over the veggies the people were slow and the bathrooms were really messy and disgusting. I would rather take a trip to Clovis where they have some standards then to eat here in Prather at this nasty subway. read more

This is hands down the best Subway I have been to. I stopped here on the way to a camping trip for a quick lunch and was very happy with the service. I live in San Francisco & the Subway's here don't put much thought into the way they build their sandwiches, it's all about speed; not so at the Subway in Prather, they place all the ingredients onto the sandwiches with care and there's a really friendly vibe about the place. In fact, we stopped back on our return trip. However, a true testament to their excellent service is as follows. After we left the restaurant on our way home & had already traveled about 100 mile I realized I left my wallet on the table. When I contacted the restaurant I was told the wallet had been turned in and could be mailed to me. I received my wallet via mail two days later with everything intact!
