Meet Buckey. And his girl that rings your stuff up. Support local businesses!
Mary Lou S.

What's not to like about Cressman's?! Come on, we all gotta root for the local guy! Need gas on your way up or down the hill? They got you taken care of. Craving a Snickers or little snack while you're driving? Give your business to Cressman's. We stopped by on our way home from a camping trip to pick up a couple tee shirts to show support for Cressman's. Small effort, I know, but what if we ALL stopped by for a tee shirt?! Can't wait to see them start rebuilding! I hope the new store has all those amazing bakery items they use to sell!! Anyway, back to the shirts. They have tanks, tees, long sleeved tees and sweat shirts, too. The nicest girl waited on us and she had the cutest sidekick named Buckey. Next time you're on 168 near Shaver, don't pass them by. Give them your business, too!

Salted caramel and oatmeal raisin.

Stop!! Stop in and buy a Salted Caramel Cookie! They are so good!!! The Oatmeal Raisin was a good cookie but the Salted Caramel was so much better. We almost ate it all before I got a picture. Also, pick up some wild game jerky. My hubby had to get one of each.

Combination. Delicious.
Katelyn L.

The service here is always fantastic. Their pizzas, sandwiches, and cookies are amazing. Came here to get pizza after being disappointed with the size of the Shaver Lake Pizza we got..this one was cheaper and just better in general.

A great place for a quick fill up and some snacks for the kids. The attendant was super friendly and made me want to come back again.

Raley's supermarkets consistently offer a top-quality, expansive selection of fresh produce. They are known for sourcing fresh, seasonal items from nearby farms, which reduces shipping time and ensures peak freshness. Their strong relationships with local farmers also give those growers a reliable retail outlet while providing customers with the best seasonal offerings. The bakery is equally impressive, featuring creative fruit pies, consistently high-quality baked goods, and the irresistible aroma of items fresh from the oven. This particular location also stands out for its nice selection of Yosemite-themed gifts and souvenirs, including hats, hoodies, stickers, magnets, shot glasses, mugs, and more. Prices here are typically 15-30% lower than at local gift shops or inside the park village. The restrooms are generally well-maintained and clean, which is always appreciated on a long drive. Overall, this Raley's is my reliable one-stop shop to grab coffee, fruit, a sandwich, and take a quick restroom break before continuing to Yosemite.

The ride up the hill is always relaxing and scenic, at times you can see wild turkeys and other wildlife, taking the old Millerton road you ride past a property that has Bison, Alpacas and Giraffes along with horses and cattle. A ride with a late breakfast was in order so after riding through the hills it was time to satisfy my biker appetite and dig into some delicious food. As you can see I chose a hearty meal something common but still appreciated. The restaurant was a buzz with other travelers and with the TV on and conversation wafting through the air the thought of my travels around the lower 48 states occupied my mind. The service was prompt (never an empty coffee cup) and even the proprietor shared the duty of checking the customers at the counter bar (he was very cool). The decor was reflective of the years gone by and I could identify myself with some of the items seen, always a nice touch. Be sure to travel and see the these small mom n pop business you gain much more than just a good meal, included is a view to the past and maybe just maybe a glimpse of yourself back in time.

It's a small little convience store/restaurant on making Tollhouse Road with a large menu of many American and Italian cuisine classics. Everytime, you are instantly greeted with the friendly, Tollhouse charm of the staff. I would recommend calling in your order ahead of time, as it can take 10-20 minutes for it to be ready. My favorite item from them is the Reuben sandwich, a pastrami served on grilled marbled rye bread with 1000 islander dressing, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut. The menu says that it comes with a pickle spear, but I think that I have only had that once when I dined in. It also comes with French fries that are well seasoned and crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The sandwich is always so perfectly cooked and juicy and leaves you feeling satisfied with the portion size. Truly the best Reuben sandwich I've ever had. As much as I have wanted to try other options on the menu, their Reuben is just that exceptional that I absolutely need to get it anytime I'm near the area.
