That said, I was a little disappointed -- no bone-in chicken, missing some of the classic sides. I get it, they probably had to streamline for the grand-opening rush, but it felt like being invited to a family reunion only to find out Grandma left half the recipes at home. I ordered a pile of tenders and sides instead, and while they hit the spot, I'll be back to see if the full Bojangles magic eventually makes its way onto the menu. Service and organization? However, my experience here tonight was completely unacceptable. I waited 50 minutes for a two-item order. For context, my friend ordered three items and received hers within five minutes. This wasn't during a rush--it was midnight, the lobby was empty, and there were maybe two cars in the drive-thru. About 20 minutes into my wait, I politely approached the counter to check on my food. The staff informed me they had lost my ticket. As a industry worker, I get it--tech glitches happen. What is not acceptable is what happened next: it took another 30 minutes to receive my food after alerting them. During that entire time, no one updated me, no one apologized, and there was zero communication. Losing a ticket is an accident; ignoring a customer for another half hour after realizing your mistake is poor management and a lack of basic customer service. I am incredibly disappointed by the lack of professionalism tonight.
