Walk up counter service with a menu split neatly into cold cut and oven baked sandwiches. Going with the Devito, my mind was thoroughly blown by how flavorful the red sauce and meats were all together, it had a combination of textures from the crusty bread cured cuts that made it fun to chew through every bite. My Stallone was also just such a pleasant mix of flavor with the pesto playing a bigger role on the cold cut options. This is one of the places where I feel like you can spin the wheel and get a winner with whatever fate decides. Things seem pretty easy and affordable here. Portions were pretty big here and around $12-$15 a sandwich, more than enough for a single person with some for a midnight snack later. There's a good bit of seating inside with some red gingham table clothes to eat over. It's worth the visit if your in Montgomery or after a day on the Lake!

I'd have to say, the sandwich was pretty life changing and it's something I want to try to replicate, but likely can't 100%. Although they have many sandwiches to choose from, the Stallone was the one recommended to me. The bread is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and has a concoction of pesto, cheese, tomato and garlic? Inside it's LOADED with capicola, ham, salami, soppresata, and provolone. The sandwich was definitely a flavor bomb and I still think about it til this day. I would love to go back and try some other sandwiches of theirs too!

If you like a casual atmosphere with fine dining cuisine, this is the place. Seemed a little pricey when we walked in. One bite and it was completely worth it! They are dense and chewy cookies (my favorite type!) and also thick. :D Biscoff cookie (4.5/5)-- this one made me a fan! The cookie was sweet with pockets of Biscoff spread inside. Great for any Biscoff lover! The quality control isn't the best though, as the second time I had the cookie, it was dry and crumbly. If the cookie is usually dry like that, it would be more of a 3/5. I would risk another try though! Cookies and cream (4/5)-- this one was a good cookie too, capturing all the essence of an Oreo flavor. It didn't stand out in uniqueness but it was yummy :) this one was a little harder and crumblier than the Biscoff cookie, but now I wonder if it was just old or dried out... Pistachio brittle/toffee cookie (3/5)-- wasn't a fan of this one, as the taste was a bit off (either a little bitter or maybe artificial tasting?) and the brittle chunks were super hard, super sweet , and super sticky (like butterfinger filling but less melty!). The chunks were tasty (and veryyy sweet), but I had to pick them out and eat the separately since it didn't pair well with the cookie texture for me. MT says the service has always been nice, and they seemed really happy when he bought whole load of cookies, hehe~ Katie's Cafe is one of the go-to spots for his lunches out there!

They have koolaid in a bottle and also capri sun in a bottle. I've traveled the world and I've never seen it anywhere but at brookshire. When my squad and I pulled up, we confronted the brookshire brothers, giving us shopping carts and smiles and good wishes. We bought a lot of things and even decided to stay multiple minutes after they closed! The whole family comes here. It's quite peculiar-- not the store, but the fact that I saw a family of 3 pulling into the parking lot with dozens of toys (seemingly alive) hanging on the back. When the family entered the store, the toys followed, the one they call 'Bo peep' pranced around on the slick, freshly mopped floors. I couldn't find the graham crackers, so I asked Pete. I dont know if his name is Pete but he looked like it was, so that is his name. He knew exactly where they were!! He vividly described the location of the grahj crackers, explaining that they were next to the cheese its (baked version) and Ritz (family size). Big fan of all of this. If you like singing in public, I recommend this store. I sang out loud the entire time and everyone kept giving me looks of thrill and joy--at least I hope so! Thank you for your time

We also buy the large 1 gallon 6 packs of distilled water. Water at the cabin tastes funny. Glad they have carts to get it to the car. Everyone helps us find things- we will get better at this soon. Friendly shoppers, helpful staff. We buy lots of fruit and fresh stuff, but there is a good frozen selection and ice cream -all kinds of variety. Gasoline is next door. They also have a small outdoor items section in front and a drive up (not sure how you do that) but make picking up stuff convenient. There are sales on many items- but prices are not like a big box store - and that's just fine.

I've had sandwiches in NYC and Boston, but Tony's were definitely better! The menu is overwhelming because so much sounds good, so we went with two 7 inch sandwiches to split--one hot and one cold. Although a helpful tip from the cashier is that you can order any cold sandwich hot. We had the Lucky Luciano (hot) and the Sophia (cold). Both were really good--it was hard to choose between the two. But if I'm being honest, that cold sandwich was reminiscent of subs I loved in the early 2000s from places that no longer exist...with that super thinly sliced turkey, thick slice of Swiss cheese, and basil mayo--it really hit the spot. We also had a cannolo--not as good as others I've had. The bottled root beer was delightful. The Lucky Luciano was the kind of sandwich I came here for, and don't get me wrong, it is deliciously cheesy and will make your hands messy. But the Sophia is the kind of sandwich I'll be craving. My only regret was not taking a sandwich to-go for later. Open a location closer to Houston, please. :)
