I had heard the taco salad was good at the Livingston Dairy Queen, and it did not disappoint - as good as or better than taco salads at any of the fancier restaurants in town! The eating area was very clean, and I was impressed with how accommodating the employees were. I had heard some Dairy Queens were going out of business, but I encourage folks to give this one a try. Other foods (besides their iconic Blizzards) that I especially enjoy are the DQ Dude (steak sandwich) and the floats. I like mine with Coke. Enjoy! read more

Employees are not wearing masks even though it's required of customers entering the store. We ordered a blizzard with chocolate ice cream. It said chocolate on the receipt. They handed us the blizzard with vanilla ice cream and walked away. We waited at the window for someone to come back and said that we ordered this with chocolate ice cream, she said "okay" and took it. She went around the corner and came back stirring the blizzard with what now looked like the same blizzard with chocolate syrup in it. "We don't have chocolate ice cream but we can put chocolate in it to make it brown." Seriously? If they knew they didn't have chocolate ice cream, I should have been notified when I ordered. A peanut buster parfait was also part of my order and they stuck the spoon all the way into the ice cream to put the lid on it. When I finally was able to dig the spoon out, it wasn't even a long spoon that I'm able to reach the bottom of my cup with. Very disappointed and will not be coming back. read more

This Dairy Queen used to be excellent but lately it has gotten worse every time I go visit. I went by today for Taco Tuesday and my order was horrible slop. Yes, slop. The tacos were full of water and my fingers went right through the shell. I couldn't pick them up! They used to have the best tacos too. I'm so disappointed. i spoken to a few employees at the dairy queen in the livingston area and they are way under paying there employees after there probation period. for example there a man who's been there for 3 years and only making 11 something and hour that is terrible yall need to demote the ceo and management, payroll management! becuase they making your company look like greedy rich uper class whodont care about the well being of others. after there probation period they should automatically get 11 apon improvement!! 9 and 10 bucks after taxes won't cover texas 2 bed room home +1,000, car note insurance, gas to get back in forth to livingston dairy queen, grocery, hygiene to accommodate yours hygiene policy! which is slave labering if you ask me!? are hard working american employees need to be treated not beated financiall!! while they're giving out free ice cream cones, they need to be giving out wages that need to be dude to hardworking employees at one of the best establishments to come to livingston. in order for your food to be great your employees must feel they have something to work for and people to care about in order to get more customers and more rates and stars until then you will always fall!! we can't even buy school supllies we hwve to goto a shelter to accommodate for loss but deserve wages!! please help those employees asap worst owner ship to ever own a dairy queen!!! read more

On 2/22/2020 my family and I went to a new DQ (Dairy Queen) because we love the ice cream usually. However, on this day not so much. We ordered our food and the young lady must have been hard of hearing or new, because we had to repeat our orders several times and there was a total of 4 people in the entire establishment. The trouble started when this young man with filthy clothes brought our drinks to the table. All seemed fine, except there was chocolate all over my strawberry shake glass. It was like someone took their hand and cleaned the glass with it. The same kid tried to just use napkins to clean it off when I brought it back. I told him absolutely not and it needed to be remade in a clean glass. He proceeded to tell four other people in front of me and the last one was the shift manager. The shift manager told him to make a new one of course he had someone else do it. They disappeared behind the wall and came back with what was supposed to be a new one. Surprisingly, the ice cream machine is not behind the wall. This group (employees) were treating the customers as if they owed it to them to be nice. It is really sad to when you have to warn people about a NEW DQ before it even gets off the ground. The kid in question, took the shake I returned and gave it to another customer right in front of me. He had no idea if I had drank out of it or not and the new customer did not. read more
