Overall: A must-go if you need a to-go sandwich, but wish they were open on Sundays!…read more The good: The sandwiches are pretty incredible. I've had several of them now over multiple visits, and each one is delicious, fresh, and well-portioned. Certainly leagues beyond other "fast" options in the area. Both the hot and cold options are divine, with loads of meat (if you get it) and toppings. Excited to try their breakfast sometime. The not-so-good: I know this is typical for plenty of businesses in the area, but them being closed on Sundays is such a bummer. Our family often comes downtown on Sundays because of free parking (and free time in general), and we'd love to take their sandwiches to a park/space nearby, but can't on Sundays. Additionally, their spot is limited in terms of seating and space, so be ready to leave a stroller outside.

Upon walking in, I saw they had a great selection of classic sandwiches with various bread options. The service was excellent and patient as I reviewed the menu. I chose the Dig the Fig, which was piled high with pastrami and a thick spread of fig preserves on ciabatta. The sandwich was a bit pricey at around $13, but considering the amount of filling and the quality of the bread, I completely understood the price. I also tried their Iced Green Tea with Honey, which was so delicious it has inspired me to make it at home. It was really refreshing on a hot day and had just the right amount of sweetness. All in all, I will definitely be returning to this location to try more of their options!

I was craving a deli sandwich and remembered someone mentioning Olde Village Market & Deli so I stopped in to grab lunch. The ladies working were super friendly and walked me through the ordering process (I was overwhelmed with options, it happens). While I was waiting on my sandwich (which was four minutes, if that), I browsed. They have a little bit of everything - groceries, car maintenance supplies, snacks, wine, sunscreen/skincare. My sandwich was packed full of meat, cheese and veggies and tasted incredibly fresh. Exactly what I was hoping for. As others mentioned, this is definitely super convenient since PC is grocery-store-less (at least, via walk, bike, and golf cart). I am positive I'll be stopping in for random baking supplies as well as more deli sandwiches in the future!

We ordered a vanilla cinnamon iced latte, a cappuccino, a smoothie, a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel, and a strawberry pop-tart, and every single item was outstanding- gluten free options too!!! The iced latte had just the right balance of vanilla and cinnamon without being overly sweet, the cappuccino was expertly crafted, and the smoothie was incredibly refreshing. Beyond the food, the vibe here is immaculate. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the background music is great, and the workers are exceptionally friendly. We ordered at the counter, grabbed drinks from the fridge and found a table on the side, covered patio. Food was brought out super quickly and it was absolutely delicious. I got the St. Philip pita, which was incredible and almost tasted like a halal cart chicken sandwich in the best way. It was so filling and so good. It came with a really tasty side salad. My fiance got the BLT which was just as great. I can see this being a really ideal space to bring my laptop and get some work done if I lived in the area. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a great, casual space for breakfast, lunch or coffees.

The crispy chicken cutlet with prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, fire roasted peppers, and balsamic is perfection. The chicken parm sandwich is equally as impressive! As a first time visitor, they even give you a free cookie, which is such a thoughtful touch. The owner, Christian, made the experience unforgettable. As a fellow Fairfield County native, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He was kind, generous, and had us sample the gluten free protein bombs and house made chips, which were amazing, along with their Arnold Palmers. The hospitality here is unparalleled. It is the perfect mix of northern charm and southern warmth. Easily the best service I have experienced from any owner in the Charleston area. All of the staff were wonderful and seemed to enjoy working there. It's also beautiful, bright and clean. The Boss is a must for anyone from Jersey.
