So, I spent eleven minutes waiting for the sandwich maker to make a pair of six inch subs for the ladies in front of me. And that's about the best part of the experience here today. The sandwich maker rang up the first six inch for the customers in front of me, and charged the lady 9 dollars for it. No double meat, no add-ons. She paid with her card before she realized the price, then asked him to explain the discrepancy. The guy stared blankly at her for a minute, then said the sandwich was 7.99, for a six inch. When she pointed out the price on the menu board, he explained that the store was having a lot of loss issues lately, and that the price on the menu was no longer correct.
The price on the giant board behind his head that says how much everything costs.
Was no longer correct.
Yeah.
After about five minutes of arguing with her about it, he pulled out his cell phone and spent the next ten minutes plus trying to figure out how to issue a refund. At this point, my lunch break was over, so I left hungry and grabbed a candy bar.
