Pop's totally reminds me of a true Chicagoan spot for some grub - you'll see locals coming in and out while talking with the staff (because they're regulars) about the Bears, work, or construction nearby on I-90 (very Chicagoan). I loved the lowkey and charming feel here. Their pricing is affordable with most combos (including fries and a drink) being under $11. It's better to eat individually or with 1 person if you want to dine-in since they don't have tables inside, just a built-in tabletop against the walls so you're facing the window/wall when you eat. I recommend taking your food to-go. The 2 men at the counter helping me were personable and approachable. Located in a tiny stip mall off the busy street, this place is a small spot with convenient parking right out in front. There's a table and window seats for fine in, the young man who took our order was very friendly and polite. We ordered a steak sandwich with fries and a combo (beef and sausage) the steak sandwich was decent size it just needed a more seasoning, the fries were crinkle cut frozen fries (we prefer fresh cut) and needed to be a crispier.
