This is our 3rd visit to David's Hamburgers, our 2nd time to this on at 11915 I-30 in Little Rock…read more We love David's as a whole. Regardless if we go to one Hot Springs or Little Rock we've come to expect the same quality meals (endless fries, btw), great service and family atmosphere. My wife and I each got single beef combo (burger, fries and small drink) $9.49 each. I added jalapeños and American cheese to mine (added $0.90). The service level is outstanding ... an employee saw me working my way to the front door and she hustled to beat me and held the door open for us. With 1950s and 60s rock n roll and occasional Dean Martin, etc, it sets the atmosphere just right for the soda pop shop ambience. We will return again, I'm sure. It's our favorite hamburger joint in the region , so far.

I moved to Arkansas and spent weeks hunting for a solid burger. I drove past this place every day…read moreand finally stopped. First impression. Customer service stood out. For a fast food spot, this felt rare. They opened the door for me. Every employee said welcome. They checked on me during the meal, refilled my drink, and stayed engaged. You could tell they cared about the place and the people eating there. The restaurant itself had a cool vibe. I did not expect to see quality looking steaks for sale to take home. Nice bonus. Cleanliness needs work. Tables had salt and stains. Floors needed a quick sweep. Nothing extreme, but easy fixes. Now the food. Order was a double cheeseburger, fries, and drink. $17.11 total. About 8 minutes from order to food. Fries 6/10. They cut their own fries, which already puts them ahead of most places using frozen stuff. Problem was consistency. Some crispy, some soft, some seasoned, some bland. I watched them cook and they were frying massive batches in a huge bowl. Smaller batches would fix almost every issue. Burger 7/10. Perfectly seasoned, which is rare for fast food. Hot, flavorful, and satisfying. Only downside was dryness. With a little more moisture, this burger would punch way above its weight. After I finished, they offered me a free ice cream. No reason. Just a nice gesture. Bottom line. Great service. Solid burger. Easy fixes on cleanliness and fries. Worth stopping, and worth bringing the family. I will be back.

It seems I'm the first to review this location and unfortunately it's not good . While pulling…read moreinto the supercharger we were fortunate enough to land at an outlet (Outlets at Little Rock). For some odd reason I have been craving an almond pretzel all day and they just so happen to have an Auntie Annie's! As I passed by a guy eating a pretzel and drinking lemonade coming out of the store the anxiety was real. Come into the store you have either teenagers or very young adults working no different than a mall. The young man at the counter asks can I help you...not welcome to Auntie Annie's or the greeting of the day. (Didn't phase me, I was on a mission) So I asked do you guys have any almond pretzels ready to go, his response ...Yea... (Didn't phase me I was on a mission). I asked for that and my wife asked for a regular salted. As he grabs them he gives my wife the salted pretzel in which she walks off to the side so that a father and daughter could come in, I ask the young man, "do you guys have any of the pretzel dogs" a little bonus snack for when the car charged up, his response....no. So I look up at the menu and said it could be ordered right? His response...yeah. In a sense I guess I was lookingbfor a response in the nature of "no however, I can make one for you and be ready in about 5 min" (But again didn't phase me I was on a mission) So as I paid and walked over to the window where my wife was standing, one of the young lady employees (notice I emphasized young lady) in the store Pulls down her mask and yelled at the top of her lungs, "MA'AM THERE IS NO EATING IN HERE, COVID" The look of shock and wonder on our face was epic. The shock and wonder on the Father's face who brought in his little girl was epic as he corralled his startled daughter. No "no eating" signs or no for warning nothing, my wife only took a bite. All I could think of is, "I even saw a guy eating and drinking as he paid and left, as we were walking in" I could see the level of dismay and frustration my wife was about to exude however like me, we are all about experiences and that little girl wasn't having one being they were behaving like this and giving mediocre customer service, so in light of that (it didn't phase me because I was on a mission) So we we left and had a chuckle, even when the dad came out with his daughter he responds to me, "man, they are lazy and serious at the same time". I told him maybe if they had an adult shift lead they would be able to promote production and professionalism. Then I bit into my hard and overcooked almond pretzel.....and that phased me smh. Sometimes your cravings will lead to other experiences and reflecting back, this one wasn't good.
