I also got the Reuben and it was delicious and plentiful - I could only eat half, and my family member was more than happy to eat the rest! My niece stopped by later in the week and got the dill bagels and the dill spread, which are both to die for! They also have matzo ball soup that I did not see in the menu. The only bagel I didn't care for was the pumpernickel...it was more like wheat bread and had oats on the outside. If they could add some Jewish bakery items like rugelach, hamantaschen, sprinkle cookies...it would be a one stop shop for me! They also have dr browns soda including diet, a plus.

Damn good bagels!!!…read more Super cute little place with a good amount of seating inside and out. Very clean and bright. Friendly and helpful staff. I've been there three times and tried something different each stop. First up was the magical chicken salad on an everything bagel. Delicious chicken salad with lots of good flavors that didn't overpower each other. Second was the Steak sandwich on rosemary bagel. Not a fan of the steak. Nothing wrong with it, just a personal preference thing but that rosemary bagel was so good. Third trip was the one I will be going back for. The Pastrami Reuben. They recommend getting it on the pumpernickel bagel, but I couldn't pass up that rosemary bagel again, and it made a great pairing in my opinion. Whatever that Potchke sauce is, it really made the sandwich. But as you can imagine, the bagels were the star of the show each time. Nice size with just the right amount of seasonings. The first bite said it just right... perfect thin crackly bite on the outside with nice chewy dense inside, and so flavorful. I've heard that it can be quite crowded during the typical times you would visit a bagel shop so I went "off peak hours". The first time there were probably 10 people in line in front of me, the second time five or six and the third time I walked straight up to the counter. All three times my sandwich came out within just a few minutes of ordering so I would say they are definitely doing something right behind the counter. Only got one photo on my first visit. Was to excited to eat them to remember to take photos on next visits.

It's very open and spacious in the brewery. And now that I know it's dog-friendly, the pup will be coming with us next time!. They have bands occasionally, too - so make sure you check the schedule. We arrived one night, and the band was sold out - so we had to leave, but had just enough time to have a brew and a pie. So check in before heading that way to ensure you can indeed get in. It can get busy, and the line can get long - so be prepared, and you might want to get two at a time those nights. As for the food, I have to say the Greek salad was AMAZING. Super fresh, zingy dressing. Just so good. The pizza was decent - nice thin crust and fresh toppings. Will it go down as the best pizza you've had - nah, but it goes good with a cold brew. Overall solid place.

The calendar is on the web page. But why chase bad BBQ. This wood pellet (Traeger) grill smoked BBQ is dry. The smoke flavor is light to the point of being almost non-existent. The rub is okay, but when a brisket is this dry it's just not worth eating. The other meats are okay. The pork is probably the best thing, and it's just good not great. The ribs were okay too. The sides are about the only reason this has two stars instead of one. The mac and cheese is tasty and well made. The beans are good. Look, I don't write any reviews less than three stars and few less than four stars unless I have visited a place multiple times. Any place can have an off day, and I hate giving lower reviews to small businesses. But this is just NOT good BBQ. And, yes, I know a bit about BBQ, with deep roots in Texas, North Carolina, Georgia, and Italy. I've cooked many briskets. Many. With wood. Cooked many pork butts and ribs. Tons. And so has my family (I have two relatives in the Dallas area who cater BBQ). So, this is not an area where I have no experience. Oh, and don't snicker at Italy in the list. How did your whole goat cooked in a dirt pit turn out? How about that whole pig you cooked? Yeah. Thought so. Sorry, Lloyd's. This is not great stuff. Dang. I wish it were.

I visited Lloyd's for the first time today at the farmer's market in Monroe. I had been looking…read moreforward to trying some of the tasty food I keep hearing about. I especially want to try the pork belly bites, but those are only on Fridays. I ordered the most popular dish, the gomer. I asked what the freshest meat was because the reviews varied. Many stated that there was a lot of dry meats, others report tender and perfect. My suggestion if you don't want to be disappointed is to ask what is the freshest for that moment in time. Pork was it today and it was delicious. I think next time I would rather get the meat plate as all the sides piled onto the pork was a bit over the top for me. I wanted to taste each item they have separately, but it was challenging being piled together. But that is what I get for picking the popular item and not what I think I would enjoy more. Gomer was $12. I see the cost has gone from $10, then $11 and now $12. I would not be willing to pay more than $12 but I understand the cost of food has gone up. Curious why the nacho is $16. If I understand correctly it is just the gomer with chips and cheese. I don't think that is worth $4 more. Maybe the quantity is more too??? Overall, I am happy with my first trip to Lloyd's and looking forward to pork belly bites in my future.
