I ordered 3 sandwich/meals and 1 salad online. The salad was basic, I didn't customize it at all but they still didn't add all of veges and it was about half full. I paid approximately $9 for the sad version of a salad. Virtually every item I ordered was wrong. All the sandwiches were missing toppings. I paid for 3 drinks, 3 chips and two 2 cookies. This Subway will do anything to save a penny. If I order a foot long, they only give me 4 slices of meat and attitude if I ask politely for more. I understand shipping to Alaska is expensive, but the price should be covered by the $3-$4 upcharge. Subway will no longer have my business. Some advice to Wade: you can't expect to keep customers with the employees bad attitudes and high prices. Update, 2020: I recently had someone comment that of course it's going to be more expensive because we're in Alaska. Yes, I know. I covered that first fact in my post. The service we received was poor. The woman making our subs was unfriendly and quite rude, honestly. She also spoke to her co-workers in a condescending manner. When making my sub, I clearly asked for salt. I then watched her grab the pepper and she shook literal piles of pepper onto my sub, but no salt. I did not ask for pepper for a reason. But she poured a bunch of pepper on my sub without asking. when I asked, "Um, did you put salt on that?" She answered, " Yeah, salt and pepper". She sounded annoyed with me. I decided not to bother asking it to be re-done because they had suddenly gotten busy. Usually the service is good here. Unlike other places, the workers here have customer service skills and are friendly to their customers. Tonight we called 15 minutes before close and asked if they could make the order over the phone. We wanted to make it convenient for them so they wouldn't have to get everything back out last minute. The guy on the phone was rude and said "We don't do that." with no friendliness or apology for the inconvenience. So we told them we'd hurry over and order there. They knew we were driving over and had the sign turned off and the doors locked before their actual closing time. I saw one employee standing by the window watching us the whole time. That's so disrespectful and rude for someone who gets paid for a CUSTOMER SERVICE job to lack basic courtesy. read more

I have been to this subway about 8-10 times and am shocked at the dramatic difference in the service received in the morning versus the afternoon and evening. Consistently poor, slow, unfriendly service in the morning. The sandwich makers, and cashiers are snotty, and Inattentive. However, in the afternoon and evening the service is usually excellent and no matter how busy they are they always greet you with a smile and make excellent sandwiches. read more

This was the best subway I've ever ate it. The sandwiches themselves were phenomenal! There was a huge line and they were fast and efficient at making our sandwiches, and with the best attitude. I was extremely disappointed in my service tonight. I placed my order on the new app and sent my daughter inside to pick up the order since I wasn't feeling well. When I got home we were missing over half our order (one foot long, 3 chips which my daughter didn't realize she was suppose to grab, and 6 cookies). They also made the two subs that we did receive on the wrong bread. Since I wasn't feeling well I called the store to ask them if they would refund the items I didn't receive and was told I'd have to talk to the manager and was placed on hold for 20 minutes which at that point I started to get frustrated. I drove back to the store (which by then was on hold for 30 minutes) and retuned my 2 subs I did receive and asked for a complete refund. The manager said they were too busy to attend to my phone call and ran out of the type of bread I requested. I understand that stuff happens but the way they handled the situation was poor. They forgot half my order and ignored my phone call. That's pretty poor customer service. I've Never had a problem before but I will definitely think twice before going back. read more
