They let us know that the panini machine was broken and someone was working on it, so that buggered up my plan to order the turkey panini. I ended up ordering a grilled chicken sandwich. Husband decided to go big with a chili dog The place is clean - but I do have to mention that these terribly uncomfortable chairs made my back hurt just looking at them, so we ate quickly They have a little book sitting at the front bar, where they give you all sorts of information on Holbrook, which is kind of cool. It included a list of places to stay, things to see and do in the city and campgrounds.- quite fun that they have taken the time to put that together. Honestly, the food wasn't all that memorable and maybe it was because I had my heart set on that turkey Panini. The chicken sandwich was fine and my husband's hot dog was good but very messy as one would expect. The fries weren't very hot. It was just OK. $29 before tip

Quick, Friendly Coffee Stop in the Heart of Winslow's Famous Corner…read moreWe pulled into Winslow on a relaxed Sunday afternoon after a long drive, mainly to hit up the Walmart for some essentials. While we were in the area, we decided to grab coffee at this spot right on the bustling corner tied to the "Standin' on the Corner" park, the one immortalized by the Eagles' "Take It Easy." (Think: Glenn Frey statue, flatbed Ford, giant murals, and Eagles/Route 66 vibes everywhere.) The barista was genuinely welcoming and super accommodating. We asked for sugar-free caramel macchiatos, and they nailed the customization without any hassle. Both drinks were really solid: smooth, well-balanced espresso, and they hit the spot after hours on the road. The location itself is what makes it stand out, it's smack in the middle of a very touristy, lively intersection packed with Glenn Frey and Eagles memorabilia, gift shops selling Route 66 souvenirs, statues, murals, and photo ops galore. If you're already there snapping pics with the "flatbed Ford" or the bronze Glenn Frey tribute, it's super convenient for a caffeine fix. That said, it can feel a bit hectic and very geared toward tourists with lots of people milling around. If you're looking for a quiet, locals only cafe vibe, this might not be your scene. But for a quick, tasty drink while soaking in the classic Winslow nostalgia? It was exactly what we needed. Would definitely stop again if we're cruising Route 66 through northern Arizona. Friendly service + good coffee + prime location = win.

They are huge and delicious and you can get them smothered with cheese or bacon or whatever. They also have breakfast items, crepes, salads, sandwiches, ice cream, and some pretty fancy coffee drinks. Now about those hot dogs: We tried the Take It Easy dog (ketchup, mustard, diced onions) and the Kansas dog (bacon, cheese, and BBQ sauce). The Take It Easy may have standard toppings but the dog and bun are excellent. The Kansas dog was supreme. The dog, bun, and the toppings were fantastic. I don't know why the little town of Winslow has such good hot dogs but it just shows you never know what you may find.

There is a restaurant, hotel and a giant gift shop in the building. The amount of amazingly beautiful handmade jewelry, pottery and accessories ... just mind blowing! Very hard to walk away from buying anything, so be prepared to spend some serious money here! Besides more turquoise jewelry, I also bought some Prickly Cactus Pear Jelly, and a Prickly Cactus Pear Marmalade. There are multiple cashier counters, so you don't have to worry about waiting in line for too long. The cashiers are very nice and helpful with any questions you may have. Taking pictures or videos without permission is not allowed! It's a great place to stop during your trip, for a restroom break, or shopping or just a scenery around the area.

Guessing based on their breakfast that their lunch/ dinner is good... but it's hard to find good breakfast places and this is definitely one! * Highly recommend the Warrior Surprise and the Ranch Hand. *The Navajo taco with an egg anyway you want it... not only tasty but such a huge portion. Get the fresh onions and salsa on the side and you can decide how much you want if it. * The country fried steak was tender and that is some of the best gravy that comes with the Ranch Hand. Recommend opting for the fry bread for an extra 1.75... totally a treat! *Service was attentive and friendly * Dining room views of the outside was pretty. * Didn't stay at the lodge but would consider it given the pretty landscaping and access to a restaurant within walking distance... a good restaurant. *Clean restrooms *Can get busy when tour busses stop *Def will return

I don't usually leave reviews, but something needs to be said about our experience…read more Our waitress, Stephanie, was wonderful and attentive. We had no issues with her at all. However, our experience with the food was incredibly disappointing. There were 3 of us dining. We ordered the dirty fries with brisket to start. The fries are hand cut (which is good) but they were not crisp. They were limp, and the brisket was more bbq sauce than meat. The meat was cut into tiny pieces that were mostly fat. The BBQ sauce was overly sweet and it seemed as if it was being used as filler to make it seem like there was more meat. The few pieces of meat I was able to find that weren't fat were dry. For our main courses, my husband ordered the Beef Fajita, my daughter ordered the Traditional Pan Fried Tacos (beef), and I ordered the BBQ Nachos with brisket. Had I known what the brisket was like beforehand, I would have chosen something else. The refried beans that were part of each meal were very pale and bland. According to my daughter, the tacos were ok, but the meat was dry and some of the lettuce was wilted, and definitely not worth the price. The fajitas were ok, but more veggies than meat. The nachos were mostly the disappointing refried beans, BBQ sauce, and sour cream. There was a bit of melted shredded cheese, but not nearly the amount there should be for nachos. Our ticket came to $108 ($94 before tip). This was double what this meal should have cost, especially for the quality of the food and size of the portions. I don't mind spending that much if I walk away feeling like I just had a really good meal. This time, I walked away feeling like I had been robbed and wishing we had gone to Taco Bell instead. On a side note, the paint in the pendant lamp hanging above our table was completely cracked and flaking and I was worried that it would fall onto the table andþor the food. This is definitely a health hazard.
