This Subways is totally awesome. I came by here for lunch a few times and each time I'm amazed by the amount of food they give you. Other Subways don't give as much meat, but this place seems to give a generous portion. I was also surprised at the freshness of the bread. They seem to be fresher than other places. Everything else is the same as any other Subways you might come across. I know Subways doesn't have the best of reputation - but I enjoy a good sandwich from time to time. Not always my go-to franchise when I'm hungry, but every time I come here, I'm always pleasantly surprised. read more

Food quality was horrible because it was all made sloppy and the bread on both sandwich were burnt. Not only that but, both of our sandwiches were made incorrectly and when asked for the sandwiches to be re-made they subway worker said "I don't want to make a new sandwich and I'd rather just change the bread" even though it was more than the bread messed up on the orders. She was whispering remarks such as "I hope you have customers like you when you work" even though I was being more than polite with her and felt bad even asking her to fix them. I thanked her and she said "don't thank me." with a nasty attitude. She kept rolling her eyes and looking at me bad throughout the whole process. She also has made a comment about me using the buy one get one footlong free deal and said she didn't want to remake the one that was free, then why have the deal? Never coming back. read more

Went in with my family to order 3 footlongs, we had a coupon that had come in our mailbox[we are local and live in lake forest). The store employee made all 3 sandwiches and then informed us at the front of the line that they would not honor the coupon. She told us, "the manager does not allow us to take coupons". Not bad for lunch, the food is fresh always here and pretty consistent. Staff however needs a lot of training, one of the members what very confused when I asked for a tuna salad so they brought someone else to make it. The lady that is part the staff or a manager was very busy with selling you stuff that you did not want. Also, sometimes they put less qualities then in other locations, i had to ask for a little more mustard for example. How much is that going to cost???? read more

The lady working at 5:30pm on Wednesday, June 12th, was the most disrespectful human I've ever met in my life. I called back to get her name to file a complaint and she refused to give it to me, and hung up on me immediately when she first heard my voice. I was being very kind and patient with her, as I saw she was busy, and I felt bad, yet, she still had a disgusting attitude and it honestly surprised me being a former subway employee, there were so many things she was doing wrong in this situation. She then refused to remake my sandwich which she had made improperly. I would not recommend taking your business here, it enables the way the employees treat the customers and it's not right. As I came in I was greeted by a guy that was already wearing plastic gloves so I waited to see if he would wash his hands and put on some new gloves but never happened. More people started to come in and out of the 3 employees working there none of them zero (0) of them washed their hands. They just came from the back area and put some plastic gloves to start our sandwiches. Also while they were making our sandwiches they all touching different things like trash (from the little containers in the line, for things that fall of the sandwiches) and other ingredients that fall alongside the line and sometimes two of them working on one sandwich. They had zero idea of team work. They also had very little customer service knowledge. It's just a very messy place and not a lot of high gene. Not coming back! Not recommending it. They were fast today during the lunch rush. That was a plus. But the Turkey, which is normally picked up in a slab and peeled off so that you know you get the 8 slices that you are used to, was all shredded in the bin and they picked out shreds and the amount looked to be less than normal and was a little short on one end. The lettuce was older and had some brown edges. They also changed from the normal Subway napkins to a napkin holder of non-Subway napkins. I felt like the owners were making small changes to add a bit more profit to their bottom line. I'll try the Subway on Moulton Plwy next time. read more

It's a hop, skip and a jump away from work and perfect for lunch when I just want a sandwich - no frills, no thrills. The location is tiny and can be hard to miss because it's kinda tucked away in the shopping center but it's on the Best Buy side of the mall, near the end, and parking can be tricky at lunch. There's a line but don't be discouraged. The staff moves really fast and hustles to get you out the door. I always get the veggie on flatbread. Something about Subway meat just doesn't agree with me so I pile it high with the veggies and get the soup because my office is always freezing. They skimp on the veggies so don't be afraid to tell them to add more. Otherwise, not a bad place to get your sandwich. Use the coupon on the end of your receipt to save a few bucks. read more

Haven't been here for a year because of my experience here. So, not sure if Samir or whatever is still working. He was the worst. He never wore the usual subway uniform, so I'm assuming he was a manager. HORRIBLE CHOICE FOR A MANAGER. Every time I came in, it's like he and his co-worker would laugh to themselves as if they had placed a bet each day on which days I'd come in (I used to work around the area & come here almost every other day) I always order the same kind of sandwich too.. maybe this was funny to them?? I don't really know what kind of sad lives they must live back there to have to display that kind of behavior at a SUBWAY. I just know that he didn't understand how to be respectful in front of customers. I also have witnessed him rolling his eyes or giving his co-worker "the side-eye" when a customer would give him their order. Wtf? Too bad I didn't get the chance to stab him in his eyes with forks last time I was there Hope he's gone by now. Haven't been back, never will. Hire presentable people with manners. read more

UPDATE: Today the girl incinerated my sandwich in the toaster. The solution? Scoop out the meat, place on a new loaf of bread, add the WRONG cheese, and toast again. The result: A sandwich completely inedible. Buyer beware! The order app is frequently turned off, staff skips on veggies and often doesn't listen to what you want on your sandwich and will make it the way they like it. I asked for mayo, got Chipotle southwest sauce instead. She seemed of ended that I asked her to make my sandwich again. How hard is it to make a sandwich? read more

Today I received Subway text message for BOGO, buy one sandwich & drink, get 2nd free...pretty much the same coupon I get in my weekly paper... The message said to wait and open when at the register when paying. I did so and as I waited to pay the webpage flipped over to "this offer no longer valid". I had it open, was in the process of ordering the required drink, and the manager REFUSED to honor the coupon. He could see I was on the subway page, and stated that since he had to have the code he couldn't, and told me that since it was lunchtime he couldn't help it. Now I realize that Subway is franchised and no doubt this guy does not care that I'm giving his store a bad review. He over charged me (for avocado) and when i went back into the store and asked for my money, did he want to unwrap the sandwiches to verify i was being truthful? Apparently he thought i was trying to scam him for a $3.50 sandwich in the first place. Never again. The manager, or sadly maybe he's the owner, is rude and selfish. Those coupons are widely available on any given week. This was just wrong, poor, inconsiderate service. I feel sorry for the kids who work for him. read more

I always go to this subway now because the service is sooooo good. They really are nice. I've been to one where the guy just put 3 pieces of meat into my sandwich and I asked for more and he said it'll be $.75 more and he just put two more pieces. Here the people give you your money's worth. I particularly like extra cucumbers and they do that without haggling for money for two more pieces. Plus I like a lot of creamy sriracha. I ask for sandwich and souper combo like the tv adverting. To my surprise they don't offer it, is that a false adverting or what?

The cashier can get rude if you don't purchase the combo and if you ask for napkins. They should keep in mind that if you are getting a Subway Sandwich is an option of eating "healthy" and getting a soda with chips can raise the sugar, calories, etc. So don't give the customer an attitude when I choose NOT to add sugar, fat, carbs to my diet. read more

As far as Subways go, this location is the best. The staff makes all the difference. Sandwiches at other Subways aren't as good for done reason.
