The exterior holds nostalgia of the previous movie theatre the restaurant is now housed at. There is usually a folding sign at the exterior listing the daily special-- sometimes it is Karaoke Night, sometimes it's a BBQ Rib plate night. Always check the specials outside. When entering, to the right-- find a traditional bar setting with plenty of pub tables and ale. To the left, you can wait for a table and they will lead you down to the main attraction area. The tables are beautiful, hand-laid wooden, sitting in their own contained pods so you're far away enough from other patrons. There are a couple of larger tables that will seat 6-12 people. Most tables seat up to 4. The menu has a list of appetizers-- the bbq pork nachos are awesome, the recently-added cheese curds rock! Try them alongside their house-made ranch. They sell Pepsi soda options. You can get bottled Mike's Hard Lemonade Cranberry for $2.50. The main course options range from salads (all have been great), to handhelds like hamburgers, hot turkey, cold club, Philly, and more. There are also knife & fork options like steak, fettuccini, and others. I love their Turkey with grilled bacon and onions. The sides contain twice baked potato, pasta salad, onion rings, tots, fries, sweet potato fries with a unique dipping sauce, and more. The twice baked potato is A+. The bread pudding is their dessert staple-- sure to please. Prices for appetizers are around $10-$14 depending on what it is. The mains are about $12-$16 for most but they do have pricier items like the steak. The sodas are around $2.50. They have a variety of beers and alcohol types-- just inquire with your server. The servers have all been pleasant. The food is a bit more upscale than a diner or typical home style restaurant. The food has a special, interesting culinary twist to it-- and it's definitely worth the price. This is a hidden gem of a place here in the middle of Madison County. I have brought many out-of-towners and they've all been delighted. To add to the experience-- every time I've came, you can clearly see the owner heavily involved in operations and will check on the tables; which is a nice, welcomed touch. I honestly felt like an outsider not welcome at all within the 4 walls of this establishment. I will say it was clean and very organized inside making for a pleasant atmosphere.
