We waited and waited it past 40+ mins and I went to ask. - First was that they lost our order number and they couldn't find it. - Second the manager began to say our order was taken by someone else and then that my partner grabbed it. Switching her words back and forth and not believing what we had said. I asked how did we grab our stuff if I still have the device to notify when our food is ready. - Third she completely stopped talking to us and went to go help at other customers. I told her we want our money back and she said, "well I'm not going to refund for the drinks you had". Ma'am, that's not how you run a business. Just admit you messed up and take ownership of your mistakes to help a customer out. - Fourth she mentioned that other tickets have been lost today and other foods have been stolen before. It was the type of sandwich that would make Patrick Bateman sweat upon inspection. Enough about proportions, lets talk volume. I felt as a young medieval price would - if i asked for turkey, I got a turkey. If I asked for cheese, I got a wheel. Nothing held back, nothing left on the table. My chef gave me the effort of a walk on getting a shot in the championship game - all heart! I got everything he had. Park Place might not seem like the most obvious location given the heavy Mexican presence along Broadway, but I would venture to say they've blended in nicely over the past couple of years. (#3) Location 2 seems a bit different from its sister spot, in that it's larger with more seating, and the added distinction of being the "Cajun Crawfish" spot as indicated in the title. They offer catering and offer some of their finest items in large trays, perfect for potlucks and celebrations. Orders can actually be placed online for added convenience. The prices are still affordable and the food is quite excellent. Their claim to fame is the bo luc lac, otherwise known to the rest of us non-Viets as "shaking beef" and they do it so well. The beef is tender and well seasoned, goes perfectly with their Vietnamese macaroni (aka nui xao). They also serve a variety of banh mi, noodle dishes, and make a mean cha gio (egg roll). I can't wait to come back to try more things as well as their crawfish.
