This and Pret a Manger provide the two sources of better quality sandwiches to take with you on a flight, especially if travelling with a budget airline - I prefer their vegetarian/vegan choice to that in Boots, which is also close by. The only downside is that it can often get very busy, so you may have to wait a few minutes to get served. Fine most of the time, but not if you are running to catch a train or flight!

Baked beans sound so weird to me to have for breakfast! But it was delightful. Very berry smoothie to go (had to catch our flight, so I took this to go!) My smoothie was delicious! Since it was made with raspberries, it has little seeds in it. Which I didn't care for, but it's unavoidable with the raspberries.

We were so hungry that they could have served stale bread and old pot roast and we would have probably chosen the restaurant. Fortunately, the menu was fairly expansive and included my fave breakfast food: pancakes. We were served our tea pretty quickly which we needed as we probably looked like a couple of zombies. I ordered the Strawberry pancakes. The wife took the recommendation of the server for the hash. Apparently not spicy according to the server. Apparently spicy according to the wife. Service was faster than two shakes of a lamb's tail. It gave us time to really relax after we ate before heading to security. For airport food, it was pretty good. Especially for breakfast!

Even though it was breakfast time, I really wanted to try what they are known for so I ordered a half chicken with medium spice and chose regular rice for my side. I also ordered a side of Halloumi (fried cheese) which I recently discovered while in London. I had a Galao (a hot drink from Portugal made by adding foamed milk to espresso coffee. Similar to caffè latte or café au lait) to finish it all off. I really enjoyed the chicken as it was very tender and fell right off the bone with little effort. I love that they have all their sauce varieties at a sauce bar so you can sample multiple flavors. The medium spice level was perfect for me with just a bit of heat. The rice was a nice complement to tame the spiciness and the Halloumi cheese was a great side. Overall, I really like Nando's and will keep an eye out for one in the Seattle area to try. Thanks!

This is a huge step forward in terms of the availability of decent coffee and - even more so - decent , fresh and interesting sandwiches. Service is swift and nicely done, although there did seem to be a bit of a queue for those waiting for coffee. There's lots of seating, it's all on the level, and the toilets are around the corner (down a long corridor, however). Prices are the same as in most High Street branches, which actually makes them rather competitive in an airport. It's an excellent place to load up with your in-flight food before getting on a budget airline flight, but you can also eat in, as well. (The two-tier pricing system for eat-in/take away also applies here, with eat-in food costing more).
