This rating is, as you may expect, rating the individual location compared to the rest of the chain as a whole.
This Subway is attached to a Love's Country Store, which is a fancy way of saying gas station that sells phone chargers. It is at the intersection of state highway 33 and I-35, and the site provides an RV grey water disposal to give an idea of what kind of traffic you can expect. Due to this, the parking situation is bad at the best of times and tends to become the worst snarl in Guthrie packed with people who have never seen any part of the town that isn't visible from the I-35 overpass.
That being said, the crew is nice, friendly, and quite swift. They make a reasonable effort at remaining sufficiently staffed, although this can fall through if the Love's end of the store is having problems. The sandwich prices are a bit higher than usual Subway menus in Oklahoma, but that's just a consequence of location.
Honestly, they get my order right, they get stuff done remarkably fast given the customer base, and they're pretty nice on top of that. It's also 24 hours, which is really nice when I'm passing through on I-35 late at night and I want a bite to eat that isn't a Slim Jim and a bag of Doritos.
Still docking a star since the parking is terrible. read more
