During that time, other guests who arrived after us appeared to receive service before we did. I ordered the steak and cheese sandwich, and my wife ordered the chipotle chicken Alfredo. The food arrived about 15 minutes after we ordered. My sandwich was acceptable, but the chipotle chicken Alfredo was not prepared well. The chicken was overcooked, and the sauce had thickened to the point that it affected the texture of the dish. My wife was unable to finish it. We were also there during happy hour, which was supposed to include $2 off all drinks. After reviewing the bill, the drink discount did not appear to be applied. Because of the amount of time we had already spent waiting, we chose not to raise the issue at the restaurant. After asking for the bill, we waited about 10 minutes and had to call the waitress over again to request it. Based on this visit, we do not plan to return to Pub 22. We try to support local businesses, especially since there are limited dining options nearby, but the service, food quality, and billing accuracy during this visit did not meet expectations.

They have a pretty impressive menu posted on the wall behind the counter but she told me right away that she didn't have a lot of the things on that menu available. There was a sign that said please ask me about my breakfast specials and when I did she said they had scrambled eggs - that's it - and after going back-and-forth with me trying again and again to get specifics of what could be added we eventually we're able to come up with a type of scramble with cheese and vegetables. She told me there were 2 orders ahead of me but for some reason it took about an hour to finally receive my food. That's unacceptable. When the food did finally arrive it was very good and the price was reasonable. I can see the potential here. She is a very nice person and I do understand she's running this cafe all by herself. It would really be a great idea to have someone help her out so the food could be prepared more quickly and organize a breakfast menu with a greater variety of options. I would gladly come back if they can fix the issues I mentioned.
