My family ate some wonderful hot meals. We ordered, Chicago Dog (2x), Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Brisket Dog, Italian Beef, Crinkle Cut Fries, Cheese Curds and Fresh Cut Fries. We had a great time here. We met the owner, Phil, and talked to him for a little bit. The owner radiates such enthusiasm for each customer that's contagious and is no wonder why this place is so popular and has over 4-Star glowing reviews. He was so kind to us that he made us, from scratch, complimentary two hot Pretzels and Onion Rings. If you've ever had hot Pretzels before... You've never tried these homemade Pretzels. As we were dividing each pretzel apart, it was so soft to the touch and the steam was coming out. Almost something out of professional commercial, in slow motion. The food, the atmosphere and the entire staff was genuinely amazing to serve us and other guests in the restaurant. The menu selection is large, so be sure to bring your hungry belly. Meat portions are about half what they used to be. Sometimes the chicken sandwiches literally have more breading than chicken. And the regular beef sandwich has about 3 bites of meat. Go to Beef a Roo right next to them and you get about 2-3 times more meat on their regular beef sandwich and it is about the same price. And they have way better quality beef than Arbys. And the Freeport Arbys does win the award for most consistent bad service. As the other reviews say, they make you feel unwelcome and like you are a burden that you want to order food. After the consistent bad attitudes and bad food, I no longer go there.
