Quick Review: Order from somewhere else!…read more ===== Long Review: (Updated) My friends wanted to give this place another shot, I tried to argue with them but sigh.. so here we go again. I took all the measures to ensure a safe contactless delivery setup, left a sanitized cooler with a giant note taped to the top of it, left special instructions, even put a door wedge so they could get past a special door meant to keep robbers an etc out. All this for the expected driver with a $50 order. 2 pizzas an 4 2L sodas is that expensive! So turns out they got the seals right this time, not sure what the giant plastic trash bag was all about because it wasn't sealed itself if that was meant to be a barrier of some sort? However thats all the remotely positve bits.. The driver called me multiple times only to argue with me and hang up rudely. I told him what was the point of ordering "contactless delivery" if I have to do everything myself for a $50 order? His tip was included online so I don't see why there was any debate.. yeah it was less this time because of the last time an I was right to do so. This guy wasn't going to do his job properly. To make matters worse this guy tried to leave with half my order still in his car. I had to come downstairs an get the sodas myself, only the pizza was actually brought up! An only after arguing with this A-hole was even that achieved with more of the fighting downstairs. Oh I know what your all thinking.. he was scared of "covid-19". Uh no.. this guy had half his mask on an no gloves. I had to exit where I was without any preparations to be outside because he was trying to leave. I've only partially recovered from my injuries in the last 6 months. This guys sole complaint was "not tryin to get robbed going inside buildings at night". Ok then.. maybe don't be a delivery driver? I have seen female drivers bring my orders from many a restaurant in "tha hood" into basement apartments an even in the most shady of places.. but this guy wont deliver a pizza to a secured location?! What did he think was going to happen? the security cameras would eat his soul next? Yes there is one specifically aimed at the driver or anyone who "arrives". Pizza Hut.. you are not what you used to be. Your manager even tried to argue with me. You need to restructure or something.. I am done with you. ----- Prior Review: Sale says 11.99 for a pizza, almost $2 in taxes, $3.5 for "delivery" to drive 5 miles assuming their coming straight here. Almost $20 for one pizza. Opted against contactless delivery, wanted it brought to my door (I am validated as not having the virus by my doctor), driver insisted I come out to the parking lot. I'm recovering from an injury an cannot do that, he was ok with a child signing for my item though, I declined an sent someone Pizza box had a broken seal, an driver wonders why no tip in person (I gave him the tip online during the order phase, yes thats a thing now due to the virus). Fire the driver and whoever trained them. Avoid this location at all costs.

I'm picky when it comes to Italian restaurants; disheartened by so many that put little effort into…read moretheir sauces and use of fake cheese (fake cheese?!!). Lasagna is first on my list of things to try at a new (to me) place. This place ended my search for fantastic lasagna in Rockford~this is The One! The sauce is fantastic, tastes like several cheeses and it's baked right in the aluminum to-go container. And it's huge! Delish AND very reasonable priced! SCORE! I'm also picky about house salads. So many places don't give a crap~they tear up iceberg lettuce (ugh... Zero appeal in my book, not to mention zero nutritional-value), throw on some unripened tomatoes and carrots. But when you open the Primo's salad container, ciao bella! The colors instantly delight! Beautiful, fresh garden greens, scrumptious ripened tomatoes that taste like they were just picked, and whatever else is in there, it's going to be enjoyed, even if by itself! Next, the pizza test. This, from a male companion, who is also a self-described pizza critic, won him over and I, too, thought it was very good! Again with the sauce and cheese~Primo!! Thanks Primo's! I'm so glad I moved to your neighborhood!!

About 20 minutes later, it arrived hot and delicious right at the bar! Every slice was loaded with fresh toppings and they definitely don't skimp. I loved that they delivered it straight to us. Primos is a small, charming pizza spot and placing our order was super easy. The staff was quick and friendly, and the pizza was amazing. We will absolutely be back, and I can't wait to try the margarita next!

We tried it a few weeks ago for the first time and my husband and son swear that this is the best pizza in town!! We went back again last night and had the same results! First time I had the Italian beef and it was flavorful and juicy but the bread... it was crusty and flaky on the outside and fluffy yet dense on the inside. The absolute perfect bread for a juicy sandwich. We also had the lasagna(which I believe is only available on the weekends) and it was fantastic as well. His Grandma's sauce is splendid('Mamma Gulotta's' sold at Woodman's). To top it all off, Nick Gulotta; the owner, chef, order taker, carry out worker(he does it all himself!!!), is just about the nicest person I have ever met. I know some very kind/caring people, but Nick takes the cake. I just can't believe how long it's taken us to try it but am so glad we finally did! Thank you, Nick!! We will keep on coming back as long as you're willing to make us pizza!!
