I cannot believe I passed this place up. Delicious and reasonably priced. I ordered the Italian…read moresandwich, toasted, and will never go to the chain sandwich shop just up the street again. The homemade bread is as so tasty and fresh along with the giant pickle slices, it was over the top yummy. I could only eat half of it because it was so big. My boys both got Stromboli, same story as the sandwich, fresh, big and super tasty. The service was amazing. Very nice and quick staff. They are filled with Lebanon pride. The walls are filled with cool pictures of local athletes. It's not the fanciest place, but it is what you would expect out of a sandwich and pizza place. I am glad we randomly pulled into the parking lot to switch drivers. We will definitely stop by again.

Ordered a large pepperoni extra pepperoni and cheese garlic bread. Server was fast, polite and seemed on it. Bread came. Looked like a sub roll cut in half with butter and cheese melted on it 3 out of 5 stars. Pizza came apparently the kitchen or server got it wrong.... The cheese was so thick and ran off the pizza... very little pepperoni, even the grandsons scraped off the cheese and complained about the lack of meat, sauce was thick and didn't compliment the pizza it created a mess. That was a 2 of 5 stars for accuracy and edibility. I always try and leave a cash tip and did! Mentioned cash is better for taxes, she reminded me there are no taxes on tips, I replied oh that's right. Her response " At least that's one thing Trump can get right" well thank you for making it political! I get enough political BS everywhere, I don't want it while I'm out eating! 0 out of 5 stars there! The 15 year old grandsons said, it's a no go again!

I ordered 2 eggs over easy, extra crispy bacon, hash browns and coffee. The eggs were perfectly cooked as ordered with no runny whites and very runny yolks. The hash browns were shredded potatoes that were light, nicely browned without being stuck in a clump and the bacon was fall apart crisp, just like I ordered. I ordered French toast on white bread because I prefer it when the batter soaks through the bread and some places that use Texas toast do not let the batter soak through it. Their French toast was perfect. Plenty of batter was used to assure the entire piece of bread was saturated and it was thoroughly grilled to a brown exterior and warm creamy interior. The coffee was fresh and not bitter. Finally, the service was excellent and friendly. We will stop there again on our way through.

I ordered the 10oz steak breakfast with two eggs a side of red potatoes and two pancakes. Eggs were cooked perfectly to order. The steak was a healthy cut of meat for a filling breakfast. I ordered medium rare but probably would have ordered rare or warm rare if I visited again just to have a more tender bite. The red potatoes were excellent, I could have eaten a whole plate of them! The pancakes were flavorful making them a cut above your everyday pancakes. I had to force myself not to eat the last couple bites because I was stuffed. Service was prompt even durning the lunch rush. Would definitely eat here again.

Typical deli food (sandwiches, soups, salads, etc.) with specials on the side (award-winning pasta salad, southwest chicken casserole, etc.). The casserole was a bit too salty for my taste and the after-lunch cappuccino was pretty dull, but lunch here was definitely better than hitting up the McDonald's drive-thru at the edge of town.

We both had loaded potato soup and Ruben sandwiches. Both were better than I expected. The soup was rich, hot AND homemade. So many places pass off frozen soups as homemade. I know, I worked in a private school that served those same soups most restaurants in Spfd pass off as homemade. I can not wait to try another next time. My Ruben sandwich is my standard I can't make up my mind order. That said I have eaten probably 50 different restaurants Rubens in my life and I can say that many use processed corned beef. I was happy to see Ritz is using pulled shredded corned beef off of a big hunk of meat. The owner is considering putting up his own sauerkraut but even so the marble rye was nicely grilled and thousand island dressing homemade. The Ritz is everything I love about leaving the city. Once off the highway wonderful diners and deli's are what makes any road trip, even just 20 miles, a real adventure filled with treasures like this one. I can't wait to go back.
