No stars if I could. This location closes an hour early even though there business hours state closing is at 10. The staff close early and lie that that closing time is 9 but nowhere online or at their store does it say that. There's no welcoming friendliness or care. Employee Betty was absolutely rude and sarcastic. She hung up on me then told me when I went there, yes, I hung up on you but I already called the owner. I said I'd like to talk to the owner. She sarcastically replied I can't give you his number. She was actually taunting me and acting as if she wasn't doing anything wrong. My cousin was with and couldn't believe her behavior. I WILL NEVER GO TO THE EXETER SUBWAY EVER AGAIN!! They also do not take SUBWAY coupons. I highly suggest going to the Subway outside Farmersville or at the Red Barn on 198. I've never been treated so rudely as I was today by the owner Henry Patel of Subway Sandwiches. On Wednesday I bought sandwiches. I left my little purse behind I think. So Friday morning I phoned & staff said call back after 5:30pm to talk to manager. I phoned at 6pm. Staff said manager decided not to come in so call back Monday, they took my cell # & name & said someone would call me back about my purse. No one bothered phone me back. So this morning I went to Subway when they opened to follow up. Nice cashier got owner Henry Patel on phone who proceeded to yell at me & tell me I was accusing him of stealing my purse. He threatened me & when I said all I am doing is following up about my purse. It had my office keys, my debit cards & my Costco credit cards. Owner told me to leave, that I was harassing him. Twice later in the day, owner phoned me with a blocked # saying he is going to sue me. Then just moments ago the Tulare police phone me about an "incident" at the Tulare Subway. I've never been to a Tulare Subway. The police apologized when I explained I'm just trying to find my purse. What a horrible human being Henry Patel must be internally. Pray for relief from his misery. What a jerk. Subway lost this customer. All he had to give was kindness & offer to assist. Incredible jerk. read more

First, I had to give my order to the broad behind the counter three times because she couldn't understand me speaking to her in English. Then had to tell the 14 year old kid a fourth time while she proceeded to help the next customer BEFORE asking if I wanted any other sandwiches. So I had to intervene to get my other order in. Now for my veggies... EVERY tomato in the tray was cut from the end of an unripened one. They had NO avocados (this is ridiculous since the store is next to a supermarket in California where avocados are readily available). When I got home (less than 2 miles away) to eat, sure enough the tomatoes were hard as a rock... and my sandwich was NOT toasted. It was luke-warm. Bacon & steak was rubbery & cold.
