this place is terrible I have been there 3 times and each time they are open but then tell you we are out of everything. this was at 6:30 pm on 9/18/25 the last time. The employee was sitting outside and told me they are out of everything. To cancel my online pickup. I asked whey did you accept it in the 1st place and are you even open if your out of everything. Poor customer by far! It was empty when we visited which was probably a clue. Upon our arrival, we put 2 tables together to accommodate our party of 8. After doing so, an employee told, not asked, the person at the end of the table to move. I was thrown off at how rude so I asked him to just in case I misunderstood. I asked, "you're asking her to move ?" And he said "YES!" He said it with such rudeness, force, and aggression. We were the only one seated in the lobby at the time. There were only 2 customers in line ordering. There was no justification for him to be rude to his request or even ask such request. Side note: Restrooms weren't working either. Guess what? This is a Subway. Unless you have been living under a rock, you know what they sell. Difficult parking? Yep Standard Subway food? You betcha Located on world famous Ormond Blvd., this Subway is located in a strip mall. That doesn't really seem too odd since most are located in strip malls. This particular strip mall location seemed very busy when I stopped in for lunch one weekend and that made parking very difficult. The food was standard Subway fare and the service was acceptable. If you find yourself in need of Subway in Destrehan, I would imagine you will end up here. Could I say more? probably so. Will I? Probably not. OK, I lied. This doesn't really have anything to do with Subway, but it is a personal story, so I am going to write it. I often find myself eating in my car at work. It sucks, but I enjoy the brief moment of solitude. I usually find a secluded spot and enjoy my food without being bothered. There is no such place anywhere around this Subway. I tried three different spots. At each one I would take a bite and boom, fifty bajillion randos would come driving up. Can't a dude eat in peace!!!! By far the best subway I've been too. I know what your thinking, how? They all serve the same food!? BUT, this particular location has the sweetest and most caring workers! They are always smiling and greet everyone when you walk in! I come here for lunch 2-3 times a week and they are always ready to make my sandwich! They don't short you topping either! I usually dont come here. There is something wierd about the smell of Subway mixed with the stench of a pet store. On a hot day you can smell the gym from down the way. The service here is your traditional snobbish, below par, Destrehan entitlement service. The staff is a bunch of teenagers working for spending money and it shows. Usually they have all the "stuff" but if the meatballs run out too early in the day, you can forget it. you will have no balls that day. read more

Oh my gosh this has to be the friendliest Subway I've ever been to! Seriously best staff that I can't rave enough about. The food is what you can expect from every Subway around the country.
