I visited on a Tuesday afternoon and it was a bit busy but was instantly greeted, seated myself at the bar, and served a (very) cold drink immediately. I had the 2-meat plate with fries. Hot fresh fries; good smoked sausage and sliced brisket. I did as I like to do: took my time eating, visiting with the staff and local folks. I enjoyed every minute and every bite. I parked my 18-wheeler a mile away and walked into town; hadn't walked three blocks back and a local fellow stopped and says, "Can I give you a ride? It's awful hot." My kinda place.
