Stopped for 2 6" sandwiches. 2 tiny scoops of tuna and a tiny bit of lettuce for just over $9. Same for my veggie. Portions tiny and prices way higher than any other subway. Young man behind the counter was rude, didnt listen as i asked for items on the sandwich and repeated questions I had already answered. Asked for vinegar on the veggie and had to ask for it 3 times and got about 5 drops. No really, he did not squeeze the bottle, just shook it over the sandwich. Then went to dump oil on it. Got snippy with me when I said no oil. Will not be going there again. Asked him how 2 sandwiches came to 22$ thinking he accidently charged me for meals. He just handed me the receipt. read more

Freshest sandwich I've had in a hot minute. It slapped today with the 80 degree day. The service was quick and moderately friendly. Way cleaner inside than I expected it to be. A combo did cost ~$16-17 but that's not this location's fault. Parking was easy too. read more

Me and my wife stopped there for breakfast, we grabbed two 6-inch sandwiches and were billed $25. The lady there tried to tell us something about prices, combos, .... but since she could barely speak English, we could not decipher what she wanted to say. First off I wouldn't even give this place a one star. I went here with my partner to get two sandwiches, as they were making mine I asked for avocado, they didn't say anything and went about putting everything else on except avocado. When I asked again if they could pretty please put avocado on my sandwich. I was given a dirty look and then the guy put some avocado on only half of my sandwich. When he rang us up it was almost 50 dollars for two sandwiches and two small drinks. My partner was surprised and said "yikes 50 dollars for two sandwiches and two drinks? That's expensive" the guy then crunched and threw our change at us and some of it hit the floor. The sandwiches are adequate. The bread never seems fresh like other locations. The biggest disappointment is the service. Never do the employees smile or even say hello. They border on rude, like your very presence is an inconvenience. All in all if you are in Cle Elum and want a sandwich I'd go to Stella's and avoid this place all together. read more

Nothing extraordinary going on here. There are limited quick food options in cle elum so i was forced to stop here or starve. The food was edible but i wouldn't say it was good. I actually so occasionally go to the subway in my neighborhood in seattle and it seems to taste way better -this is a chain so shouldn't the food quality be the same? Anyway, i learned my lesson and will go to safeway next time for a sandwich. It will be cheaper and probably taste better. read more

You may be weary of going to a subway connected to a gas station, like I was, however this was one of the most positive subway experiences of my life. This store generally has decent food for the money. Been off subway for several months but received a coupon mailing with several 2 for 1 offers, meal deals and specials. It's the full page coupon mailing. Go up to the store and wait in line for service. I ask girl behind counter if they were accepting this set of coupons. She takes it and looks absolutely bewildered. Her young co-worker comes up and she shows him. They go in back and talk then come out and tell me they were told never to accept any coupon. Honestly looked like this was their first day. Besides buying my future subs from walmart and a regional grocer in the same center, I strongly suggest that if this stores' management is not going to honor the corporations mailings, that they put a sign up in the window notifying the customers of this policy. Otherwise they are participating in a bait and switch. read more

Normally I wouldn't give any subway (or any fast food restaurant for that matter) 5 stars but the other reviews seemed harsh. This ain't Seattle. This is Cle Elum. What I found when I went in was a clean restaurant with reasonably prompt service and the usual subway foods. I'm not sure what else one expects. I got what I expected out of a subway. read more

Went to grab lunch on the way home, wanted to use a text coupon I had received, asked the kid behind the counter if I could use it before I ordered our sandwiches, kid says yes, I order our food, go to use the coupon when I pay & am told I can't because one of the sandwiches I ordered was one of their specials & it can't be combined...um I'm not combining, I'm wanting to use a coupon instead of the special, he continues to tell me he can't use it, I'm a little peeved because I specifically asked about using it before ordering (he could've mentioned it wouldn't be a problem unless I ordered the daily special which would've made the next two minutes avoidable) I continue to not understand & just fork over my card & pay full price ($6 more than what I would've paid using said coupon which was the only reason I chose to go there today anyway) I comment to my boyfriend how I'm going to fill out their comment card to which this kid replies, "Yes please do that & next time go to the Ellensburg one & take your bitchy attitude with you" Seriously?!! Right in front of my kid!! I asked for his manager, he said he's the manager, I asked for the names of the owners of the store, he wouldn't tell me...I was flabbergasted & left knowing I will be reporting him to not just the owners but the company itself as well...customer service is completely lacking in the upcoming generation & it's absolutely disgusting! read more

Lousy service and had to repeat myself several times so they didn't mess up my sandwich. I kept saying black pepper and she kept putting black olives on. I had to nearly grab the pepper shaker before she realized there is a difference between olives and peppers. They leave the stems on the banana peppers and put them on your sandwich. read more

Decided to look at other menu items, this is the most expensive Subway I've ever seen, especially one that isn't a truck stop. Thankfully they participate in national promotions and I got a $6 special foot long. There is some good things to say. Have to give a star so one it is, but would prefer no star. As I'm ordering a tuna my husband is ordering a chicken bacon ranch. As she begins putting my tuna on she then proceeds to put my husbands chicken and bacon on with the same gloves. Then puts cheese on using same gloves still. Then proceeds to ask me what veggies I want; uh hello are you going to change your gloves that are covered with meat? I eat fish and that's the only meat but as a food worker you should no that mixing meat and veggies is cross contamination!!!!! OMG! I asked her not to touch any of my veggies with those gloves and then she proceeded to use those same gloves to grab the veggies for my husband She changed gloves and did mine and then at the end asked if it was ok to touch my sandwich with the same knife she cut my husbands WTF! Hell no you better not! Possible food poisoning here and if you're allergic to any meat substance or are vegetarian do not go! Manager needs to be notified ASAP!!! read more
