Stay away from this location. They just charged us double the menue price for two mini blizzards. When I asked if the price was for mini's the manager said yes. When I asked if it was a Cle Elum price or a national price the manager said it was their price. He then lectured us on the high wages and taxes in the State of Washington. This is honestly the worst dairy queen i've been to. First of all I had a brand new 25 dollar gift card that they said was empty and took. They didn't put toast in our chicken baskets which is part of the meal I had to pay for. We waited for so long in the drive through it was absolutely ridiculous. This is the worst Dairy Queen I have ever been to. I have went there a lot in hopes of maybe different employees would make a difference. It does not! This place can not make a milkshake. These people have no clue. Even when you tell them the problem they don't fix it. After many bad shakes I spoke up and took the bad shake inside and asked for a new one and showed them why. My shake pours out like a glass of milk. Not ice cream, no thickness at all. They go back and make me a new one and it is just like the 1st. I then asked for the manager who comes out and says to me a milk shake has milk in it with a dirty look . I just walked out . I was so mad, I knew not to speak or it would have escalated fast. . Correct me if I am wrong but a milkshake should be thick and creamy, not like chocolate milk. They taste bad. It is a different shake every time you get one. There is the one with so much chocolate it is to bitter to drink, the one that has no chocolate that has no taste. Don't even get me going on the fake whip cream. It used to be redi-whip now it is oily wax in a can. This stuff can sit in your cup overnight and not melt. After reading all the other reviews I notice this person The Dairy Queen Business Manager leaving her comment after each review. Notice how they all say the same thing "We're sorry to hear you did not have a great experience with our team. We appreciate your feedback and are always listening to our customers." We live close by and have gone to this DQ about twice/week. They get something wrong on the order nearly every time we go there. We always ask, "no onions, right?""no cheese, right", and they always insist that they got it right. Yet after we drive away and open up the bag, the order is always wrong. They always seem so sincere, yet they never get it right, which leads me to only one conclusion - the sincerity is not real. They are just pushing food out the window hoping you go away. read more

We have made this a frequent stop when traveling between Wenatchee and Bellevue. Might have to find an alternative. I have never, ever been treated with such poor customer service. We came through the drive through when Ashley was working. What a hot mess. We ordered Blizzards which we have done before.. they looked like vanilla ice cream in a cup! After a very rude exchange Ashley agreed to remake the Blizzard. She brought it back to the widow and shoved it out to me without a word. I responded there really was no reason to be mad. The food isn't horrible but we stopped there to get lunch for a road trip and it ended up being $47 for three people which is insane for a fast food restaurant. The girl on the drive through was a bitch and they were very unwilling to help. The prices on the receipt didn't match the prices on the board in the drive through. Being $47 you would think there customer service would be decent but apparently not. They are clearly pissed off with the fact that they live in cle elum. read more

We ordered a cake and 3 blizzards, and while the ice cream was good, the service was less than subpar. The cashier seemed impatient even though there was no one behind us, and while we were talking amongst ourselves in trying to figure out what to get, she would put in our order even though we weren't directly talking to her or directly ordering. My friend asked her about what was in the Jurassic Chomp which was a seasonal blizzard but ended up ordering a small s'mores blizzard instead. However when my friends order came it was the Jurassic Chomp blizzard, and on top of that it was a mini, not a small. When we told the cashier that they got our order wrong, she replied with "Would you like to repurchase?" .....In addition they only flipped 2/3 blizzards. This was a quick stop at a fast food restaurant, it shouldn't take that much to satisfy your customers. read more

Customer service is usually really good as is their food. I would give them more stars, but I think that the manager or owner needs to do a better job with hiring and staffing during busy seasons. We had a gentleman who seemed very untrained and unfriendly. We always tip and asked if He had a tip cup he could put it in. He looked at us like we were from Mars and said "YES?!" Like it was also annoying that we were tipping them. We tipped anyway, but we're very disappointed with the service. We asked for a blizzard with a lid and two sundaes. He crammed the spoon into the blizzard anyway and seemed annoyed when we said we asked for a lid. He crammed the lid on and then said "here's your spoon," with the same spoon He had crammed into the blizzard. We explained that these were traveling to someone and we need a clean spoon. He got us a clean spoon and shut the door. We didn't even get spoons for the other two things, so I had to go back around, try to find parking in the crowded parking lot and go in to get spoons. Train your staff better please. We aren't difficult people and we know customer service and working in food is hard, but you've got to have common sense and you need to be courteous with your customers. I had just driven over 500 miles on my way to a new position as HR Director for a software company in Redmond. My final stop for gas and a quick bite was in Cle Elum, WA, where I decided on this DQ. Saturday August 31 - 6:15 p.m. Let me tell you, this was the absolute worst service, customer service experience I think I have ever received at a restaurant, quick service or otherwise! The snotty high school blonde girl who served me should not be employed by any company that desires to be successful, period. In hindsight, I wish I knew her name so I could flag our HR software to NEVER consider her for a position. Was it me, or MY vibe? Fair question. . . . Nope, I assure you I was pleasant enough and this fact was confirmed when she was just as snotty to a nice elderly couple that ordered right behind me. This terrible experience was all I thought about on the completion of my drive to Redmond. So much so, I decided that when I give a new employee orientation to 63 new staff on Tuesday September 3, (and all future employees) I will highlight this negative experience with Dairy Queen and how just one or two, selfish, self-serving, snotty high school girls can absolutely destroy the millions of dollars that a company spends to market and advertise their product or service. As a matter of fact, I am sharing this horrendous experience on Facebook, Twitter, Yelp and as noted, my staff. After reading the other reviews for this location, it sound like this is the norm, and as also thought, if this is the culture of their "public face" I have to wonder what is going on in the kitchen behind the scenes with those that prepared my food! We stopped there today just to get some quick food and some ice cream after being stuck in traffic forever. They was about 5 cars in line so we expected a bit of a wait. It took over 30 minutes to get our food. We got to the window and she said the total was $22 and some cents. Okay, that's fine. She handed us the blizzards that were half melted and making a huge mess, whatever, we have napkins. Then we only got half of the food we ordered, when we asked her about it she said she only got us down for one of the meals, which isn't the case because the total was so high. She said we can go back through the drive thru or go inside. Well there was a long long inside, so we just left. All the workers we saw were younger people, they need better supervision. read more
