Good spot that's comparable to chipotle! The portion was huge and very filling! The bowl was almost too big for one person but would be good to share with someone else!

Quirky, modern, clean, and unexpected find in this small town. Thanks Yelpers for helping us locate a non-fast food spot to eat. We dined in on a Saturday evening, around 6pm. It was quiet and service was speedy. Food: Bursting with flavor. The birria beef ramen was so unique and something I would order often. The beef burrito was good, but I would personally enjoy some added guacamole or veggies. Tacos - pork, beef, chicken were okay, but a bit too mild for our pallets. We are a bit biased because we enjoy Authentic Mexican food often. Kids cheese quesadilla - it was good, but the kiddo wanted some beans or beef as an added option. Mango peach habanero margarita had a kick!! I love spice, so it warmed my soul on this snowy chilly evening. Overall we would return and recommend! The guacamole was fresh, the queso was creamy and mild enough for everyone's pallets. The establishment was clean and filled with fun art and youthful smiles. For the options in the area, this is a five star establishment. They are excelling in the menu they offer.

So surprised at how delicious this little spot was! Found Señor Bones while looking for a quick bite in a road trip. They have a pretty small menu but maintain to offer some unique items. I wasn't feeling like anything fancy so I simply ordered a chicken burrito bowl. Compared to chipotle it was a bit smaller and a bit more expensive. My food came out in about 5 min. Even though it was a smaller portion it seemed to be just the perfect filling amount! The flavors of the chicken were excellent! I do wish that the it came with some kind of green. Lettuce would have been a wonderful addition to the combo. The two salsas I ordered with my bowl were fantastically flavorful! Nice amounts of spice and roasted tang. Nice spot if you're looking for something yummy on the go. They even have a drive through!

This is a nice little hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Cle Elum. We went there twice in our recent travels. The first time I had a pork bowl ($13) and the second time, a beef bowl. I preferred the beef bowl. My wife had a quesadilla that was surprisingly large. The quality isn't fine dining, but at the price and excellent service, well worth the stop. We would go back.

Great burrito bowls. Friendly staff. A funky college-joint ambiance suited their kind of restaurant. A take-out window saw a lot of drive-through business. The use of Square for credit card processing. All that was good. Two burrito bowls were nominally $25.00 ($11.50 for the veggie bowl, $13.50 for the chicken bowl with guacamole. Not cheap, but not outrageous either. The veggie bowl was fine, though nothing special. The chicken bowl with spicy salsa (my choice) and guacamole was delicious. -------------------------------- But then there was the annoying 4% credit card service charge. The problem I have with Señor Bones was that the nominal price $25 bore little relationship to the final cost of $33.73. $25 for the food $1 for the credit card 4% WA service charge $2.11 for sales tax $5.62 for 20% tip (not on the food amount, but on the total, including the credit card 4% service fee - bad move). I wanted to treat the staff well (they deserved a good tip) ... but when your total charge is 35% above the menu price of the food, the 4% credit card service charge really rankles. And charging the tip amount on the total including not only the tax, but also the credit card service charge -- really poor.

We stopped in for a quick lunch on our way home. I've driven by here many times but never really noticed this spot before so today we decided to give it a shot since we were looking for something fast. It was relatively busy but the line to order at the counter moved fast. The food came out really quickly which was nice since we were hoping for a quick lunch. We enjoyed the decor as well, it's a fun spot with an upstairs with an additional few tables for sitting. The food was great, I had the shredded beef tacos and we got chips and guac. We were all happy with our orders and I look forward to coming back!

    Deluxe Ramen

I came across this place in search of Mexican food this weekend, and when I saw Birria Ramen I was so intrigued!! Had to go try it. The owner was great, funny, accommodating. I got the deluxe ramen and oh my gosh I'm still thinking about it, Birria was so tender, flavorful excellent amount in my ramen! The consommé broth was delicious. My husband got the El Rey Burrito which was a Birria ramen burrito, so dang good. This is gonna be our spot to stop at when we travel to the westside and back home from now on. Too good!

    Balcony seating!

The balcony seating is my favourite! I love to go up there to hide and enjoy a good book or study! The prices are reasonable for Cle Elum, and the food was amazing. More importantly, Russ and his crew are always willing to make my food just as I need it (cilantro makes me very sick)! In fact, one time I ordered my burrito and it was definitely not made according to my order! I rang them and not only did they replace my burrito, they threw in another free one for another time!! Señor Bones is definitely one of our local favourites! Check them out soon you won't be disappointed!!

Taco Plate ($11), Queso Burrito ($11)
    Wendi K.

Fresh, filling Mexican spot in the adorable Cle Elem downtown district. Stopped here on a whim while on the way to Leavenworth. Tried: Chicken Burrito with Queso ($11) - Great size and delicious with queso but rice heavy. Street Tacos (chicken, pork. beef) - Sizable! The best was the beef. The Birria Ramen and Sopa sounded very unique. Order at counter and pick up food to wat at the table. Modern interior.

    Grilled jalapeños
    Miranda G.

From the outside it looks like a tiny little hole-in-the-wall off the main road, easy to miss. But missing this restaurant is a mistake, let me tell you! As soon as you walk in, you can tell a lot of care and effort went into the decor. Bright, vivid colors and Dia de Los Muertos ambiance. My husband ordered the carnitas burrito with green salsa, and I got the chicken adobo burrito with the spicy red salsa, both with added guacamole. We also ordered 3 grilled jalapeños on the side and a couple Pacifico's with lime. If you are a margaritas drinker, they have those as well. Our food came out pretty quickly. As soon as my husband bit into his burrito he said "wow that's a lot of flavor" and he was so right. This burrito might have been the best burrito I've had in my life. And that's saying a lot....I'm kind of a burrito connoisseur. (You can read my past reviews if you don't believe me ) SO much flavor, and SPICE! Not blow your tastebuds out spice, but the kind to warm your mouth up, make you take a big gulp of your drink, then dig back in for more. I honestly didn't even need the jalapeños, but I still ate 2 of them. What can I say, I like the fire And regarding the jalapeños, you gotta respect a restaurant that uses fresh ingredients. I've been to Mexican restaurants where they've given pickled jalapeño rounds when you order jalapeños. And that's a massive fail in my book. So Señor Bones, props to you for the fresh, real food ingredients!! And you can taste that freshness and quality in the other burrito ingredients, too. We aren't from here, but you better believe I'm stopping back in tomorrow for a road burrito before heading home!!!!

    Mole burrito bowl
    Richard S.

Wonderful find! We arrived at noon on a Friday and had great, fast service. Excellent food in an eclectic decor. You can kinda taste the mole in the mole burrito, but it's not Oaxacaño level. Still, the portions are ample, the ingredients fresh, and everything else was perfect. Totally worth a stop if you're passing through.

    Casey S.

We just heard about this place today. Thankfully we took the suggestion and went. We got a 2 chicken quesadilla, barbacoa quesadilla, barbacoa burrito and a chicken burrito bowl. I also got a super strong margarita while I waited. Every bit of food we got tasted amazing! The quesadillas were perfect, they were cheesy and meaty. The burrito was stuffed full and tasted incredible. The burrito bowl was what you want chipotle to be but never is. The staff was so helpful and friendly! I 100% will be back and recommending this place to everyone!

Can't believe I've missed this taqueria while traveling through Cle Elum so frequently. I really really wanted to love the place - especially with a "killer burritos" sign at the drive thru. I'm giving them one extra star as folks working there were super nice. Maybe it's been too-soon since my last Bay Area burrito experience to give them a fair rating. Here goes the burrito impressions: Had the regular carnitas. Properly wrapped in foil. But very flaccid. Meat was ok. But rice and beans very bland. Not enough salsa used. Sour cream might have been one tablespoon. The overall experience was blandness. The texture of everything was very mushy. As if the burrito contents had been in a crockpot for 8 hours. Got side chips & salsa. The habanero salsa was very nice. The small portion of Pico was good too. Chips were stale. I'll visit again.

We had the Parmesan garlic wings, and some potato dish, and the tamales, The wings were ok - nothing to write home about tho - but the potatoes, they were dry and a bit burn flavoured, and definitely not worth the price!
