The omelet came without the salsa; I asked the waitress for it. Several minutes later, after she filled other patrons' coffee and took an order to another patron, a gentleman seated beside me commented that I was waiting on salsa; I aded that my omelet was getting cold. She brought the salsa then went back to the register area and commented to someone that I must not know that the salsa will make the omelet cold. However, there is a big difference in putting salsa on a HOT omelet versus a lukewarm one at that point. I made a comment that I knew it would cool the omelet but didn't want to put it on a cold omelet. She did offer to make another one, but after her rudeness, I wanted to eat and get out. Every time I've ordered a Spanish omelet with this waitress, I've had to ask for the salsa. As I was leaving, she loudly said, "Have a blessed day" in a not so friendly voice. I didn't respond or turn around. You can let her know that my day is blessed every day; I'm sorry she was evidently having a bad day. I frequented Ziggy's weekly in the spring. I live outside of Morehead and don't mind making a drive to Ziggy's for breakfast but my next Havelock trip for breakfast will be the Havelock Cafe. Ziggy's is now in my past.

I'm sitting in the parking lot writing this and a young lady approaches the vehicle and wants to talk and in an effort to make it right offers to remake. I express my disdain for no added patty (I'll pay for the patties like everywhere else) policy, I decline her offer and tell her to look over her shoulder across the highway.... I explain that while I prefer small and local companies, I am headed to McDonald's where I will order a double quarter pounder with cheese, I'll order 6 additional patties and they will make it for me correctly without bun or other stuff I choose not to eat.
