It's like pulling teeth with pliers to order and get order way you want when your right in front of them from this location. Last time worker (very little English) rushing made sandwich their own way i said little of sauces they put crap load making soggy mess. and very rude. Attitude was i take it their way whether i wanted it or not litterly had to dissect the sandwich removing the crap I did want. throw soggy bread away and put on a bun of my own.... Ordering two six inch subs was the most difficult thing I've done in weeks. Their sandwich artist spoke zero English. Instead of just handing me off to one of the other two that did speak English, she tried to muddle through my order until finally I asked another employee to help her out. Finally I was done and also picked up two bags of Sun chips. Once home, I opened a bag of chips and it was like cardboard with cheese powder. I checked the expiration date and it was good. Would leave no stars if possible. Went there around 1:30pm. Ordered two sandwiches and the lady working barley spoke any English so it was difficult ordering anything from her. My sandwiches barley had any meat on them and were made incorrectly. When I asked if they had mustard she put honey mustard on it and I hate honey mustard. When I asked her to redo it because I don't like honey mustard she just looked at me like she didn't understand me. Also got two bags of chips and didn't notice until I opened them to eat them that they were stale! I checked the dates and they were dated August 2023 so still good according to date. Looked at the bag and quickly realized that they bags had holes in them! No telling what happened to them hope we don't get sick from eating them. Highly unlikely to return to this location. I was really looking forward to eating here as I haven't had it in a while but sadly dissatisfied and disgusted. The sandwiches were gross and had no meat we didn't even finish our sandwiches which were the 6 inches they were that gross. Should have known better when we walked in and the location didn't look very clean the ambiance was just dingy and dirty like a nasty truck stop location. If you follow my reviews, you know that a fast food chain will always get a 3 star rating from me. If that chain is nasty, then lower, but rarely do I give higher for a common chain. To earn a 4th or 5th star, that chain really has to come with the real deal awing! As you can see, this place has a 4th star. I must admit, the staffing here is really quite engaging and quite nice. As you would imagine, or possibly know firsthand, dealing with people all day is taxing to the personality! A grouchy disposition after working long hours is sometimes really understood from someone like me. If you are not familiar with this chain, basically you have to choose between 2 lengths, or about 5 different types of breads, and multiple toppings, and multiple sauces to establish a sandwich of your liking. These customizable sandwiches even come toasted if you would like it to be. Just imagine that every person that walks through the door wants something different, and you have to service every last one, and their indecision or ultra-pickiness, with a smile...probably would not happen for long! Truth of the matter, you will pretty much get the same taste and toppings no matter what Subway you go to across the United States. That actually brings me to why this particular link in the chain has 4 stars. They are the first, and to this day, only chain that has the limited edition garlic bread available for your sandwich. I was also informed that they are also one of the few stores that also serve provolone cheese. The final nail in the 4 star coffin for this chain is that they STILL carry the "Subway Seafood Sensation." I have not seen this seafood blend offered at a Subway in years. Seemingly this location has access to some aspects of eating that other chains are no longer privy to! Stop by and reintroduce yourself to that seafood mixture. The dining area is always sticky, the tables always have crumbs. My number one complaint is the fact when I order ahead or online they dont make it until I show up and it's holding up the line and depletes the reason we order online or call ahead. They need to hire more English speaking employees... and they don't smile and look angry in there... The veggies and food are fresh enough... They never have all the menu items and the seafood sandwich is my coworkers favorite but he stopped going because we'd call and they never have enough for a footlong. I always order the foot long veggie delite on italian herbs and chz, toasted and no lettuce extra tomato and olives... they never add the extra even when I'm standing there and it's aggravating they don't listen. Updated: They claim that they dont see the "Special Requests". I am pretty much forced to go here since there aren't many fast food restaurants with fresh veggies out in BFE Brookshire, TX. They put the dressing on it and it was sloggy by the time I picked it up, ordered for a 10:30am order and arrived at 10:28am and it was cold and already made. This is the third time my sandwich was ruined. They put WAY too much sauce and not enough veggies. It's almost like you have to watch them make it and it's difficult to communicate with them. They keep having to look at the menu to make anything, seems like they need to be retrained. I didn't even ask for guacamole and they put so much on it that I couldn't even eat my sandwich. It's really not that hard to make a sandwich. I have to now have to get a replacement with no sauce and just put my own on at home cause they over do it on the sauce. I don't know if anyone else has these problems but it makes me not even want to get anything from this subway location. They also never have any cookies and If they do, it's one kind- oatmeal raisin. The worst service I have ever had at a subway. The workers did not seem to speak English. When I ordered my sandwiches very little meat was put on it, and she didn't seem to really know what she was doing. When we got to my sauces, despite me saying "no no no" (politely but very obviously) she put the wrong sauce on my sandwiches. When it was over, I paid full price for two very bland, old tasting sandwiches. No attempt other than offering to throw away the sand which was made, and in the end, it was money lost. read more
