Juan Carlos was very helpful, friendly and polite. Fun attitude and went out of his way to help us get some delicious food. Thank you for being kind and delightful while serving us. read more

+Customer service was good. Tomasa hooked us up for waiting 15 minutes for a new batch of spicy. +The chicken was piping hot. -The soda fountain machine needs a deep cleaning; especially, right where the ice comes out. -The spicy rice was a bit soggy. -Mashed potatoes w/gravy was definitely fast-food quality. You get what you pay for. Good deal, but bad for your health. read more

Erick and his smart mouth should be fired! he said the oil for the dark meat made the chicken look spicy. THe white meat was fine. He instead of explaining it with out getting mad told us "if we would listen". I'm surprised I handled it well. We were trying to tell him he gave us the wrong pieces. Customer service means a lot to the returning customers not just the truckers passing thru. I'll never spend my money with this location again. They are really building up around this location and beware. They are rude here and you won't get what you paid for. You have been warned. read more

Church's Chicken - The thigh looked like spicy. But we ordered a leg. He too smart mouthed to see the order was wrong. - Chicken Wings Near Me - Brookshire, Texas

Overcooked chicken and drinks have a weird taste like the water base is bad. Staff was friendly

I was so disappointed in the chicken. It was VERY DRY It was not up to the usual standards of Church's Chicken. I WILL NOT BE BACK. read more

I waited in line for 25 minutes. Then I watched them take the lady in front of me's money and make her wait 10 more minutes. I pulled up. And when they came to me I said "I am not paying until my food is on the window shelf". They showed me... I ordered thighs and breasts. I got no breasts and I ended up with 10 drumsticks and two thighs. I hate drumsticks and my wife wants white meat! So I wasted $30 and will likely never go back. Wow. read more

Because I did give them another shot today, I am able to give them a new score. I was actually pleasantly surprised with my service, and they actually got the order correct today! What made this particular branch gain their 3rd star is the attention to detail from the order taker in the drive thru to ensure they got the correct order. Yet, what truly sold me on giving them the third star was the fact that when I ordered biscuits she refused to let me have them because she did not feel the quality was good enough for her to sale or for me to eat. She went as far as to bring one to the window to show her disappointment in the batch. She offered to make a fresh batch if I was willing to wait the time, but I declined. That type of service in a fast food restaurant is not often seen. If I was taking the order, the customer is always right, so they would have those mini burnt biscuits and I would have kept it moving! They earned the 4th star because they are the only chicken chain that I have come across that does the 2 piece, leg and thigh, 99 cent special twice a week! That is double the opportunity to get fat every week! That is too frickin' awesome! You can come to this location every Tuesday and Thursday and get this cheap eats deal. I already know this location will see me more often, and I truly happy that they redeemed themselves from the last time they serviced me. read more

We went to this place yesterday! I have been there 2 time and both times I enjoy the food and service! We got 10pc for $5.99 and tender combo! Both dishes are delicious and fresh! Thanks to the cashier too! He is nice, kind and sweet even though they are busy! We will be back for more! Church's chicken leg and tenders are best! read more

Church's Chicken - Get tenders! - Chicken Wings Near Me - Brookshire, Texas

Spicy chicken 3 piece meal. One piece seemed stale and cold. The baked Mac and cheese had no real texture to it. Probably more the consistency of mashed potatoes. Overall not good at all. Was the only customer inside. Staff very loud. Couldn't even hear the tv. ;( read more

Went through the drive through tonight to get gizzards and liver. I get home to find out they didn't give us 20 gizzards or 20 livers!! Keep trying to call and they won't answer. They should give us replacements!!! read more

Church's Chicken - Ordered 20 liver and gizzards this is what I got. They won't answer the phone either to get the remaining!! - Chicken Wings Near Me - Brookshire, Texas

Long line on Tues special night but well worth the wait! Deliciously hot chicken and sides. Great food for a great price. We drove 15 miles each way to get it and will do it again. read more

Good chicken. Past delivery had to take out window. we ordered half mild and half spicy. To us, spicy was not very spicy but we use the hot sauce and it was just right. We will keep coming back read more

I ordered a large okra and I didn't get it. I got the managers butterfly shrimp special with the 20 PCs, 4 biscuits then the $5 tenders and two sides deal... And a large okra. He stopped us to give us a spork but I only eat here for the damned okra. And every other time I've gone here they've always took too long because they only have 2 people working lunch. WTH? So yeah, why bother unless you want okra... There's a popeyes on the other side of i10... Super close read more

They still had an hour before closing and they ran out of legs and thighs. They wouldn't make another batch even though we were getting the family meal with 20 legs and thighs. I think it's very unacceptable for them not to make this for us. read more

Although we had to wait a while to get our order, the service here is amazing! It's obvious they're working hard, all the while with such a positive attitude. The manager (I believe her name is Claudia) did such an awesome job making sure we were satisfied with our order! Will be returning! read more

Came in last night for a 3pc spicy mixed with mashed potatoes and this is what I got. Tenders. I saw a whole bunch of spicy chicken sitting there too, I could tell they were put off and annoyed with me because I had already ordered and was getting food to go but that's no excuse, he also verified with me stating three pc spicy. And then I asked him again, you got that spicy right, to make sure because the pod didn't say spicy. I work in the food industry and know how it goes but you still need to do your job. I was still a paying customer and should still be treated like one. read more

Church's Chicken - a box of fried food - Chicken Wings Near Me - Brookshire, Texas

The service here is on point. The employees are either busy cooking, cleaning, or taking orders. They get that they're currently working, so this isn't the best time to just be standing there, not really doing anything. The only "competitor" (I use that phrase lightly, as it is no real competition) is a little ways down the street, and it's like $7.99 for a frickin' 2 piece with A biscuit. No thanks. The food? Tastes great, chicken is juicy, mashed potatoes don't taste gross and powdery, the honey biscuits (it would look silly if spent a paragraph on those delicious little chunks of bread.) Love that they offer spicy or original and it doesn't affect the appeal or the consistency of the chicken itself. 4 out 5 simply because they don't do delivery. read more

I have purchased their chicken at least 4 times over the past month. The quality is consistent; the chicken is tender, not chewy; and cooked perfectly. Generally speaking, I only comment when dissatisfied. read more

Just left this place with a horrible experience. Went through the drive thru and the guy didn't listen and got my order wrong. Then I get up to the window and he tosses my change and gets an attitude. Will never return. read more

Horrible customer service ( the middle aged older man) who runs the front. Has a horrible attitude. I paid for 9 pieces got all the way home had 8 and when I returned with chicken and reciept to let them correct it , he got irate and ignorant. *The receipt and the items I received didn't match. But yet he got the attitude. It's not rocket science! Just ignorance. read more

This location gives fast food a good name. I had a horrible experience with a competitor down the road one night. I pulled into this location almost at closing time. Not only were they happy to serve me, they informed me that they were out of an item I wanted, apologized, and asked if I would mind waiting whiLe they cooked it for me. WHAT!!? AT CLOSING TIME THEY OFFERED TO COOK FOR ME!!? That just does not happen! I got everything I wanted and the best service possible. These people are personable, professional, and a credit to the chain. The food is always very good.... Never had a bad meal here. read more

Went there 2 weeks ago for fried gizzards(love those things). Got back to work and started to eat, those things were like chewing on shoe leather. Well decided to try once more yesterday, ordered gizzards again , stupid me. Started off much better, til I started chewing something tough and leathery. Took it out of my mouth, it was the lining of the gizzard that's a greenish yellow color. They are supposed to be removed from the meat of gizzard. That grossed me out, I took crust off all the rest of them and had 8 of the 16 pieces had this still attached. Needless to say, no fried gizzards from this place again. read more

Quiet, not busy. Nice crews, I came during shift change. Both crews were friendly people. It's across from a large truck stop and street people wander in and out asking for money... fearlessly. That'll become a problem read more

The only reason I'm providing this location with a one star rating it is due to the customer service the chicken is really good. But the employees are very rude to the customers! One in particular I'm not one to point out a person's flaws but I don't know if I was given the correct name. But I was told her name is Erica she wears glasses and she's cross-eyed . While I was there another customer referred to her as a rude b****. The manager was also present to witness this and her name was Tomy Diaz. As I was telling her my issues with this employee and asking her name the manager refused to give me the name until I continued to demand it. The lady who was referred to as Erica told me that the manager did not speak English and I couldn't speak to her. The reason I was so upset is because this was not my first interaction with this employee, earlier this week I have went in and ordered a chicken fried steak for my disabled mom and they did not provide any gravy. My mom called back and told them that they forgot to put her gravy in her meal and the employee Erica told her that she could not come back and get it, I got on the phone and spoke with her and explained that I had just purchased the meal and I have my receipt . I had made it all the way home and due to them not putting everything in the bag I have to come back! My mom did ask if she will receive a free drink or anything for the inconvenience. My mom was told no and that the manager was not available. When I arrive to the restaurant the manager was present and offered a free drink. This employee Erica is very rude she needs to learn it's not what you say it's kind of how you say it.They need new employees at this location! read more

I'm kinda pissed right now. I'm disappointed in the organization of the restaurant. While 3 people were cleaning up the kitchen in the back and two people were preparing a large order and ignoring the people waiting to order. If they had just taken the time to take my order, they could have been cooking it in the back while I waited and they finished the giant order. I will not be coming back here ever again because it is too slow to pick up dinner for my coworkers and myself. After dinner, we have to go back to work. I'll try Popeyes next time. Across the highway on the right, if you were wondering. read more

scary-looking, people under the influence come here and yell, cuss, and scream at the employees. one bragged he had been drinking since 1pm. the cashier didn't do anything but stand there and smile when he should have been calling the police. maybe it was because the cook knew them. I waited in front of the counter hoping there was a security camera pointed in that area in case things got crazy. finally they left and I waited until they were gone before going straight to my car and leaving. I don't dare ever come back. if the manager is reading this, it happened at about 5pm on 9/10/15. I only post this so that other yelpers know that this restaurant is not safe to stop at. there's a Popeyes just on the other side of the freeway that's much better, cleaner, and safer. read more
