And let me tell you- don't miss this gem! Steven, the owner, was so kind and welcoming when I came in! Explained how to order and made small talk. Then the sandwich came and i left to go home. I'd like to say the sandwich made it home but alas-i couldn't stop eating it as soon as I got to my car! 10/10 and will definitely be going back :)

We waited patiently for 25 min to get our order only for it to be completely wrong. Ordered a half reuban and potato soup. I received broccoli soup, and the reuban didn't have cheese or sauerkraut. Order a new Yorker on white bread, and it had no cheese, no sauerkraut, no pastrami and it was on rye bread. Casher asked 3 times if we wanted a pickle, 3 times we said yes, and no pickles given. Seriously 25 min and they screwed up everything. Didn't notice until we got back on the road. Should have go to subway, at least we can watch them make the sandwiches and know its correct. The burgers were right behind. I had a double onion burger. It was classic diner goodness! It was fried to perfection, the onions between the patties gave it a great flavor. It's been probably 20 years since I was last in a Frisch's but I do have fond memories of going when I was a kid. I went with the classic Big Boy platter with fries and cole slaw. It wasn't as good as I remembered, but it was decent. For someone who doesn't eat fish, I sure do love tartar sauce. It's surprisingly good on a burger. The building is older, but well maintained. The servers were friendly and efficient. Overall, definitely worth a visit if you're just looking for that retro restaurant feel or if you're a Big Boy aficionado.

We had an appointment in the afternoon and both of us got plenty tired from the wait and the long appointment so, once we got back in the car, my wife( the blond bombshell) asked me if we could just grab a sandwich on the way home! I. Ask her if she might like to try "King Gyro"as they have a drive through. And she said for sure!!! With that said, we agreed to try it and if it wasn't great we would understand it's not the. Big city! Oh I can say is they did a beautiful job with the Gyro and their sauce too! They had a interesting presentation and that was a great deal of sliced onions quite delicious and sliced fresh tomato bricks of feta cheese made is excited because, I am not a fan of feta cheese karma! But, my sweetheart is! It made sharing this easy for me is it works but we have to discuss about King Gyros is there a pita bread!!! The pita bread they serve us was absolutely off the hook! I'm so glad I ordered an extra one for myself :-) I could not believe that this bread was there for us in Anderson Indiana. I encourage anyone that loves Gyro or souvlaki to try the king Gyro platter. There's no salad, but all of the ingredients for a delicious Gyro are there for you and definitely extra sauce, Extra pita! Both of which are really super reasonable. We recommend you get over there and get yourself one or 5! King gyros also has an extensive menu from fish sandwiches both perch and catfish are available huge portions excellent amounts of everything the American hamburger cheeseburger combos are there they call Italian beef which is actually beef with peppers in a foot-long bun. Large chili cheese fries fried mushrooms which are super crispy and amazingly hot when you order them. Since we were in the drive-through, and it's not that big of a place to have a fancy menu out there I recommend you refer to their yelp photos and I 'll try to stop by one day to get a picture of thatAbsolutely huge menu!. In summary, excellent food excellent prices and our first attempt to order was five stars! Don't be fooled by the building being a little rundown the food has not suffered from the deferred maintenance :-) you know what to do go get that Gyro inside of you exclamation
