A family owned business that's been around for over 40 years, Showcase Meats was built on word of mouth so clearly they're doing something right. The market is small and there is zero seating (take out place remember) but that's ok. Once inside you're greeted by classic Americana eats such as pizza, fried chicken, jo jo's, wings, a bakery case full of fresh pastries and more. Showcase also offers specialty pizzas, hot sandwiches as well as hot and cold subs made fresh to order. There are a few salad choices on the menu but I have to be honest, I'm not here to eat salad (please don't judge). Today I opted for a meatball sub and it was on point! What makes Showcase a such a jewel is cost, you can easily walk out of Showcase with a crazy good lunch for under $10, not too shabby! To the rear of the market you'll see 2 show cases, one full of a nice variety of fresh tasty meats and another showcase packed with side salads such as ham salad, rigatoni salad, potato salad and much much more.
