Cabinets Plus did a full remodel in 2018 of the kitchen and both baths, hardwood floor, closets, doors and wood trim. Melissa and Linda's design advice was extremely helpful and they deserve full credit for how beautiful the kitchen and bathrooms look, not to mention the efficient storage. Their advice on other remodeling issues was very valuable, as they could visualize better than me how some of my ideas would actually look when combined, and the result was that I went ahead with great suggestions where otherwise I would have stayed with safer choices that would not have looked as nice. I came into the project with some design requirements (existing furniture and heirloom rugs) and a few ideas, but I could never have put together as fine a design as they did, nowhere near as good. When technical questions arose during the design, they Kent and his people were unstinting in laying out the technical facts so we could make the best choice. I'm very happy with the suppliers they suggested for plumbing and electrical, who were also helpful, and the products we settled on look great and work well--and again their guidance led me to make good choices I might not otherwise have considered. (So a tip of the hat to Banner Plumbing, Northwest Electric, and Abt.) The remodeling teams did excellent work, and what's more they were very careful to not make a mess or unnecessary noise, which pleased my condo neighbors. All the neighbors, condo board and management company had nothing but good things to say about them. Word of mouth counts: A former neighbor recommended Cabinets Plus, and my discussions with them gave me confidence that they would do a good job. I visited several remodeling companies but got the best vibes from Cabinets Plus. If I ever do another remodeling I will go with them.

I had heard of a cabinet line online that offered a high gloss, flat slab, Euro-style kitchen line. I reached out via their website for a quote based on a cabinet layout I had already planned. Pricing seemed in line with other quotes I had gotten, so I went to see the cabinets in person. Unfortunately, that week that line's distributor let the company know they were discontinuing the white high gloss finish. Derek was very transparent about the situation and recommended against buying the cabinets in case anything went wrong, as they'd be hard to replace. He guided me in remaining available lines and what he would and wouldn't recommend. He quoted a framed flat slab cabinet that would work for my needs, and he even pointed me to a local company that he doesn't sell in his store, but knows was the type of cabinet I'd been looking for. Deborah Pernice was our designer; she was able to use her expertise and our vision to design a beautiful, family-friendly kitchen in our 2200 square foot house that has allowed us to host our large family. Deborah went to bat for us in designing and redesigning our floor plan to make us able to knock down a small support wall and add an island so that our kitchen is now completely open to an odd-shaped dining addition that was done by previous owners in an aesthetically-pleasing way. We love our kitchen and all the smart choices Deborah made, such as a stick-vacuum and electronics cabinet, lazy susan, and beautiful lighting options. Designers Point Review…read more What a wonderful team!!! I started working with Karen & Dick in the fall of 2024. I wanted to take the time to design and find just the right finishes. I did have very strong ideas that may not be for everyone and Karen was able to adjust her design ethos to mine. So, Karen & Dick worked on design, Ed on construction and Dawna on financials. There are many more aspects of the project and people involved. The entire crew consisted of people who are masters at their craft. They were respectful of our time and our home. We were quoted 6-8 weeks for a full Kitchen remodel. 98% was done in 5 1/2 weeks. The budget was firm and detailed. Any changes made during the project were noted and costs were adjusted.
