Unknowingly, while we were looking for another provider, someone had requested our service cancelled with Coastal Gas. Luckily we were here when they came to pickup our tank otherwise we would have come home to no gas tank. When we explained that we were looking elsewhere but had not made a decision yet and that we did not initiate the disconnect, they left the tank knowing that we would be calling later to have them pick it up. They also said they were going to have a truck fill the tank which I objected to since we told them we would have them remove the tank soon, but the tech said it's better to have it filled now just in case and that they would come back out when we called to remove the tank. Today I called to tell them that we were ready to have the tank removed and Lisa was obviously annoyed and told us that we gave them the 'run around' and abruptly hung up on me. I understand the frustration they have but that was unprofessional and uncalled for.

During the visit, there were 5 people standing behind the counter and not one would assist us with getting a propane refill, we were told to come back 5 hours later. Staff seemed disengaged and could careless about ensuring repeat customer business. Overall I'm not likely to return.

I only had to call within 24 hours and they would have somebody at the store to meet me; which I felt this service was amazing on their part. I did arrive at the store during working hours and was able to get my propane filled. My overall impression of the place was that everybody was just so nice and happy and really this could be a teaching lesson to other industries and maybe even government services on customer service relationship. Randy is a top-notch propane guy, he knows more about propane than anybody else that I know and I trust him implicitly. I've known him for more than 20 years and I've called him for all of my propane needs, never had an issue, never had a problem, and always felt like he was my neighbor looking out for me. Randy had his own propane company for about 20 years and he really does know all of the ins and outs of the business. True, Randy is my friend, but even if I didn't consider him a friend I would recommend him highly for propane business... he's the best.

They delivered propane gas to wrong address twice after I had called multiple times to advise that they had incorrect delivery address. Apparently that cannot tell the difference between delivery and mailing address. I had renters at my beach property which I had been trying to get gas delivered to for weeks. Amerigas came out and capped my tank without any notification to me. So my renters show up and have a house with no hot water or working stove. I called and requested service immediately. Best they could do was enter an urgent 24 hour service request. Which they did not bother to honor. After 3 days no one has filled the request. I called and they leave you hanging on the line and never return or just hang up. They cost me hundreds of dollars in rent due to negligence and non communication. This is the most horrendous customer service I have ever encountered. STAY AWAY FROM AMERIGAS! Unprofessional and incompetent.

There was no need to send that other than to be insulting. Cindy left out several key facts. I didn't order anyone to fill the tank beyond the limit. The guage clearly showed 10%. The fact that they were unable to fill the tank to only 181.8 gallons was acknowledged. Although I was frustrated, as Cindy said, I thought we reached a mutually agreeable solution and I would pay for 200 gallons at the discounted rate. So as if I cared about my propane issue over a year ago, Cindy decides it's a good business decision to tell me to take my business elsewhere when I didn't even contact them since June of 2025. She then goes on about the procedures to find a new company. This falls under the "nobody asked you" and why are you contacting me. The issue was resolved in spite of her attitude over a year ago. I believe Cindy is not suited to be talking to customers. I don't want or need her advice. I certainly don't appreciate her digging this up over a year later to say "... take your business elsewhere". I recommend some personal therapy and a different job.
