I have used Suburban Physical Therapy for two different issues over the last three years. Both times my therapist was Javier Pacheco. The first time in 2014 I was sent there for therapy for an issue with my left hip. Javier tried numerous times to keep the hip from dislocating. Finally, after consultation with Javier and my family doctor, a hip replacement was needed. I felt that the therapy that I was given prior to surgery was the primary reason that I had a very quick post surgery recovery. In 2017 I needed to have a reverse shoulder replacement performed. My surgeon said that I could do home therapy, but I decided to go back to Suburban Physical Therapy and I requested Javier. For almost 6 months I had PT with Javier two times per week. He had me do regimented routine of exercises, as well as manipulation therapy. I have regained considerable use of my shoulder and have considerable more range than I did prior to surgery. I feel that the therapy and attention that Javier provided is a contributing factor to my recovery. Thanks Javier! I would recommend Suburban Physical Therapy to anyone that needs PT. Ed Baldwin of Suburban Physical Therapy turned me around. I was disabled by advanced Arthritis. The damage to my back created intolerable pains in my lower back and legs. My company's Physical Therapist recommended minimal exercise, no weight lifting and that I "shouldn't even think about using a treadmill". Following his advice for three years led to a significant loss of mobility and strength. I gained a lot of weight and my physical and mental health suffered. I decided on a second opinion. Ed Baldwin had me lifting weights and working on a treadmill and stationary bike on day one. It was grueling after the years of limited exercise but within two weeks I was feeling the difference in my posture, my pain levels and my physical and mental well-being. He showed me the way, but this isn't a miracle cure, the patient HAS TO DO THE WORK. He provided me with the exercises, the guidance and coached me on how to do them correctly to avoid further injury so common in those who "hit the gym" without the know how to do the exercises right. My Arthritis is forever but my strengthened body and my routine of maintaining my core's tone has given me considerable relief and the ability to live a rather active lifestyle while managing my pain. read more

I was so happy with the level of service that I received. I've had PT before but I was never treated as great as I was at Suburban Physical Therapy! A full health history in relation to my injury was taken, I was listened to (very important), evaluated and then a course of action was planned. I was never pushed too hard and once, all I could manage was a few exercises, and that was okay with my therapist. Progress was measured and improvements were celebrated. Even if I didn't think it was that much progress, my therapist was always positive and made me see that I was indeed improving. I recovered about 95% of my range of motion back. Arthritis is keeping me from a complete, pain free recovery, but I'm so happy! Since I spent four months in treatment, I really can say that the entire staff is very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. And the cost is reasonable! Check them out! read more

I injured my back 12 years ago, and have been to several physical therapists. To be frank, none of them satisfied my needs, hence my hunt to find the right therapist center. It wasn't until after my pain management doctor recommended me to Suburban Physical Therapy did I find the right place. Here, I met Ed and Cara; they are very down-to-earth, knowledgeable people who clearly know what they are doing. When I have any questions, Cara is always eager to answer, and admits when she doesn't know while patiently treating my back problems. The entire staff is always helpful and accomodating. My experience started with shoulder surgery. The doctor told me I would never throw a baseball again. Ed proved him wrong and with his recommendations I have no problems to date. I then went through replacement of both my hips and compared my experience with others my age that still are having issues and continuing therapy. I am therapy free but continue the exercises directed by Suburban. My recommendation to all would be to designate Suburban Physical Therapy as their therapy provider. read more

I can't begin to tell you what a great group of people they are! From Paula and Jackie at the front desk, to all the PT's! Especially Ed Baldwin, who was able to figure out what was causing my daughter's ankle pain, after 8 other orthopedic doctors gave her shots, dry needling, prescription drugs for pain management, etc, and within 5 minutes he diagnosed what was wrong and had it solved in 90 days, after she had suffered in the hands of doctors for 4 years! I went to Suburban Physical Therapy in Twinsburg because that is what my family doctor said I needed to do before an MRI could be ordered. I was having extreme pain down my leg and around my knee. I did therapy after rotator cuff surgery with Lisa. My granddaughter recommended her after she had ACL surgery. She went to one session at Cleveland clinic and hated it.
